Hi Newbie here, never posted before so here it goes...
We have two lovely DCs (DD 4 and DS 8 months) and in the past few weeks DH and I have been discussing whether or not we should go for #3! I have been incredibly broody since DS was born and never felt this way after birth of DD (maybe because i'm scared of DS being my last?). Hubby was happy with 2 but after discussing he now says he wants more just as much as I do (thankfully!).
So i'm looking for advice/support really from either those in the same situation, or people who already have 3 or more what age gaps do you have and how did you find coping/transition from 2-3 DCs? My current thinking is a smaller age gap would be better as I don't want to get used to getting my sleep back and then going through the newborn haze (as lovely as it is!) all over again!
We realise there are practicalities to consider such as moving house/bigger car etc as we only have 2 bed at the mo, but none of this phases us. WIth DD about to start school this September we would only be paying childcare for 2 in nursery so would be manageable. I work full time (although still on MAT leave at present) and hubby works PT and will be looking after the kids on the days where he's not working, which we have found is more cost effective than us both working fulltime.
Anyone got any advice for me? Things I haven't considered other than the obvious practical/financial impact? DD would be super excited to have another sibling as she absolutely dotes on her little bro its so cute!
TIA! x
