Now I don't know if it's just me but this month could be the first month where something might have happened!! It's mine and my partners first time trying and we've been trying for around 4 months now. My AF is due in two days time and we DTD over Christmas which were my OV days. I haven't thought much of it as have recently had a cold so didn't want to do anything last week! Anyway this week (considering I have now fully recovered from my cold as thought it could be that) I have been feeling quite nauseaous in the mornings this week and I have also not been hungry at all!! I usually like my food and last night OH took me out for dinner had three mouthfuls and left it because I was so full and bloated. I'm also very thirsty as well at the moment. I have also had a crazy amount of CM, it felt like I was OV'ing again as I have quite a bit when that happens but to the point I had to change underwear too (sorry tmi!!) but one of the strangest things is the amount of sleep I want at the moment. Yesterday morning I slept through all of my alarms and was meant to get up at 6.30am didn't wake up until 8:45am!! And then this morning I didn't wake up until 8.30am sleeping through my alarms again!! Both mornings I can't remember saying bye to OH either. It just seems to be some really bizarre symptoms that I am experiencing whether these are pregnancy symptoms I am not sure that's why I wanted To ask you all whether you have experienced these at all before!! Xx

I had extreme tiredness but not before I’d had a pos preg test. It came on around 5-6 pregnant. That and the nausea.
Good luck I hope you get your bfp

SleepyBadger · 10/01/2018 11:50

Fatigue and extreme thirst were two things I experienced when pregnant with my 1st, but probably started after I tested as opposed to before...how long have you got until you can test? Sounds promising hope you get your BFP :)

babylovexo · 10/01/2018 11:55

Hi both My AF is due in two days but has probably been 2 weeks and 1 day since we first dtd while I was OV and then we DTD all that week then the last of the OV week was the 31st/1st so not entirely sure which one to count from probably the first time we DTD or one from that week when my OPK was pos which was the 27th so it would be 2 weeks today. Not sure if I should just wait till Friday and test or whether I should do one tomorrow? Fingers crossed it's finally a BFP!!

With FRER (First Response) and some other brands you can test before your period is due as they are quite sensitive. I've used those tests with all of my pregnancies and they've shown up 3-4 days before AF due. I wouldn't advise early testing though necessarily unless you are prepared to potentially get a negative and then have to test again if AF doesn't show as everyone is different (in terms of HCG levels in early preg). I know how hard it is waiting....you feel like you cant focus on anything else! Do keep us updated! :)

babylovexo · 10/01/2018 21:25

I am tempted to buy a FRER but don't want to handle with the disappointment if it's negative I think I'm going to wait this one out until Friday see if AF shows and then maybe test Saturday morning!! I can't think of anything else!! So frustrating!! Haha!

You have such good willpower! I think that's a sensible thing to do though, as hard as it is to wait! Fingers x'd AF stays away! Hubby and I have just agreed to start TTC #3 so I'm sure I'll be feeling similar soon when I am in the TWW eeek! Good luck X

Brownbear84 · 10/01/2018 21:58

My app says af due Monday but the way I'm feeling looks like she's coming early I feel crap!!! Backache and period pain xx

spugzbunny · 10/01/2018 22:33

As a rule, if you are having symptoms then your hormones are high enough to show on a test. Some people prefer to wait and some prefer to test to find out ... you do whatever is best for you!

Mrstobe90 · 10/01/2018 23:41

It sounds like you could be :D
I found out I was pregnant because of the amount of CM that I had.
Before your period, you essentially ‘dry up’ but if you’re pregnant, you produce more to get bacteria away from the fetus!
It’s a really effective way of telling if you’re pregnant or not!
Keep us posted xx

Hello I really need advice,I’m currently 18 weeks and 2 days pregnant. On the 5th December 2017 I had a scan and I was exactly 13 weeks. I saw my midwife this week and she told me I would have conceived the first week of September 2017. I’m confused as every conceiving app iv done shows I conceived later than the first week of September, my due date is the 12th June 2018 I really need a second opinion as I don’t know who the dad is. When did I conceive?

babylovexo · 11/01/2018 08:19

Hey everyone many thanks for all of your comments. I'm going to buy a test today and test tomorrow morning which will be day of AF this morning I have ALOT of EWCM when I woke up and thought it was AF showing her face very bizarre as usually I do dry up before AF starts! I'm hoping that this could be it, my nipples are very sensitive but they always get like that before AF I haven't said anything to OH yet would like it to be a surprise as he's been disappointed the past 4 months while we've been trying! So fingers crossed I'm hoping it's good news!!

@CourtneyBack that's a tough one but I would definitely go on what your midwife says rather than your app as they will be able to tell better when you would have conceived rather than your app. It would probably be quite likely that you OV'd earlier that month. I hope this helps, unfortunately I don't know a lot on it as I'm currently TTC #1 so I haven't experienced this before but I know out of either an app or the midwife I would go with the midwife best thing to do if you're not sure would be a DNA test when little one is born xx

Personally I like the digital ones where it says pregnant and how many weeks xx

Mrstobe90 · 11/01/2018 10:47

First response early result are the most sensitive but clear blue digital are nice for the novelty

babylovexo · 11/01/2018 15:37

I've decided I'm going to wait and test Saturday morning!! Say At work and I have the worst cramping ever across my abdomen area and going all the way down my legs (feel like I've done a work out) and ewcm has dried up a little now but still a bit there. I'm hoping this isn't AF showing her ugly face as the pains don't feel like usual AF pains they kind of feel worse anyone else could experienced this other than AF??
