Tattoos while ttc

So Iv got quite afew tattoos, but I get the cold sweats when I have one, like my body goes into shock. The date that the tattooist can do is the week before my period is due so conception (if it happens next month) may have already taken place? Do I have it or not?

Yes. Carry on as normal until you've had a positive pregnancy test, otherwise you could spend months or longer avoiding things 'just in case'

Having tattoos, drinking, using a hot tub/sauna are all perfectly okay whilst ttc. You can’t stop living your life based on “just in case” A baby isn’t reliant on you until around 5 weeks so anything you do before that will not affect them at all

Brilliant thank you!! I'd be gutted if I'd have said no to the tattoo and still not conceived so ur right Iv got to carry on as normal

I’ve been ttc for 14 months now and I got a tattoo last week and getting another tomorrow lol ttc is hellish enough without denying yourself things you enjoy doing :)

I was just thinking, if my body goes into shock and Iv just conceived it may not take but sod it, it's all what ifs!
