Hi Ladies,

CD28 today, I have just been to the loo and discovered a wet patch in my pants (sorry if you're eating), I noticed this yesterday as well, I haven't got an infection (or at least I'm not itching or sore when I pass water), I wondered if anyone else had this or suffered with this. The hospital reckon I ovulate around CD19, so I have several sessions with DH (poor thing he thought all his Christmases had come together), and as if bang on time I had alot of CM on day 19 as well. My sister said that she remembered being very wet when she discovered she was pregnant with her 2nd. Anyone else shed any light

Hi LMO3, I am keeping everything crossed, except legs of course DING DONG!!!
I didn't have this with #1, so watch this space, I have spoken with my Gynie about this as it just appears I don't feel anything, other than I've wet myself, but its not urine and only started yesterday which was exactly 1 week after ovulation. I have just had a couple of sips of diet coke, salad and oranges for lunch and in a few minutes, this will be the 3rd time I've been for a wee today. I always get my hopes up, but having PCOS doesn't help as I never know when AF is going to happen, so my Gynie has said wait until the longest cycle date in the last 6 months which is CD36

malinki - the cycle where I got pg with DS, I thought I had ov'd really late from the amount of erm dampness/mucus - so guess it may not be that I had ov'd but had just conceived also remember a lovely phase at about 8 weeks pg when I needed the loo every 30 minutes - got screened and no UTI and it just went away thankfully.

Normally a few days after ov, my CM goes back to being sticky. When pg, it didn't - didn't notice any CM really, but felt vaguely damp all the time. Think it was very wet CM.

You've got a few days before you can test though - hang in there!

I know this is very disgusting, but whilst I was in the loo a few minutes ago, I was very curious and had a sniff at my knickers , but it doesn't smell of anything!!! At this rate I will be changing my pants

I so love you fellow mumsnetters - makes me feel so much better about all the knicker-sniffing type of stuff I do in the name of ttc

(Typical that DH chose that moment to walk behind my laptop and read over my shoulder!)

Good luck malinki!

Thank god I'm not alone in this, woman could go mad!

malinki · 27/07/2004 10:35

Sorry, I told DH what I did and he just said, what were you expecting it to smell of, I could of said 1 million things about Semen, but kept my mouth shut. I still have it this morning and still are none the wiser as to what it is.

Hi everyone - this is a really interesting thread. I am winding down bf my 5.5mth old dd and have had copious amounts of CM in the last week on and off - started off orange in colour and then went clear. Last few days have also had tummy ache and lower back pain - anyone else experience these symptoms? I suppose it may well be my body getting back to normal again as I haven't started my AF yet since giving birth. But also bd without using any contraception at the moment and am vaguely hopeful of conceiving no 3
