I'm dying to test again.. ..ill be about 8dpo tomorrow ahhhhh I need to poas! I promised I wouldn't again this month but the ic's are calling me! Light cramping today and literally nothing else boobs aren't even hurting really!

Last cycle was first one off the pill, no breakthrough bleeding. Cycle lasted 30 days and had clear signs of ovulation around day 17/18 but not sure if my cycles are going to be regular.

Off the pill after 15 years of taking it medicinally for endometriosis so hoping for a quick miracle. Only have one ovary as the other was taken out with a cyst when I was 14 but trying to stay chilled about the whole thing (and failing occasionally; have experienced ovary pain a couple of times during sex this month).

Well my period is over today. Little bit of advice needed ladies...my fertile week starts on Sunday, should I dtd on days before, just don't want to over do it and turn things into a chore for DH and I

Going by my app thing, tomorrow is reasonable chances and then ovulation on Thursday. DP is due back from this stretch of on-call tomorrow evening but he'll be shattered, then I'M on call on Weds and Thurs. Feeling a bit despondent!
Also despite having a healthcare education and all this reading, I still can't really figure out the ewcm thing - what exactly do I need to be looking for, and what does it really mean!?

Egg white cervical mucus is the consistency of, well, egg whites! Usually clear or opaque, it's really stretchy. If you take a bit between your fingers, you can stretch it out an inch or two. It's much different to the more lotiony kind of cervical mucus that's creamy or sticky. So you're looking for clear or opaque and stretchy. It often becomes wetter on the final fertile day.

Oh and you can often notice it on toilet paper after you wipe if you didn't want to ferret about up there

@Westieandlittleboymama ideally you'd DTD every other day throughout your cycle for your best chance but if you're regular and know when you ovulate then I'd go for every day in the 5 days before, on the day and a couple of days after. I'd only do that if I knew I consistently ovulated on that day though (from something like temping in previous cycles). It only takes once of course but that will give you a pretty decent chance.
It took me quite a while to conceive my DSs so I'm used to covering all the bases though!

@KnitKitty if you had clear signs of ovulation in the last cycle, that sounds really positive! Fx for a quick BFP for you!

5DPO and I'm feeling blah like time is moving so slowly. Tonight though I have had mild cramp and a tugging pulling feeling in my left pelvic area. Who knows. It's probably one of those things I always get but only notice on a month where there's a chance of a BFP. How's everyone doing?

@Pumpkinbee it's amazing how in tune with your body you can become when TTC isn't it? Frustrating that the symptoms of a bfp and of af can be so similar though!

I've no idea if I've even ovulated yet! It feels weird to be back on the bus but not tracking anything. I'm around the time I'm pretty sure I ovulated the last couple of cycles and I've had some cramps and lower back pain. Like you said though, I'm not sure if I'm just noticing because I'm paying closer attention
I've bought one of those Ava bracelets though. I have PCOS but my cycles have become more regular as I've lost weight so I'm hoping it will make tracking my them easier and I'll spend less time trying to figure out what's going on.

@NoseringGirl think I will be every other day. I'm almost sure when I ovulate, but to be on the safe side, every other day it is!

I'm taking metformin for pcos which I started 4 weeks ago. This cycle I seem to have pinky red blood cd 14&15 so far mixed with ewcm; unsure if this is a good or a bad sign :/

@Littlemisssugarplum88 it could be ovulation bleeding? I've had it the last two cycles and it hasn't meant anything I don't think

My cycle last month was 8 days late then this month I've had blood stained ewcm, I've even found spots of blood in my knickers too.
Not sure how much blood during ovulation is normal?! Xx
