Bleeding once period has finished

So I finished my period on 26th Dec 2017.
We have been TTC number 4 since 28th Jan 2017 so almost 1 year. Since Tuesday I have had spotting just when wiping ( nothing is reaching my knickers. Yesterday and this morning when waking up on wiping there was quite a bit of very pale pink and brown blood on the tissue and then the rest of the day Tuesday I had nothing, Wednesday morning there was quite a bit on tissue then nothing all day, then a bit of spotting Thursday morning. Then Friday there was quite a bit of brown blood then just tiny bits of spotting that is still very pale pink. Ovia says my fertile week starts on 9th Jan. I've been to the docs as I'm a little worried because i never bleed inbetween periods and I'm in a little but if pain every now and again.
What could it be ??
Will i still ovulate this month?? Xx

I could have written this, ovulated just after similar pink and brown spotting. Very unusual for me too. I got my opk+ so hopefully you do too, not sure how the spotting could affect anything post ov..?

I used to have spotting pre-af and it was due to endo and a uterine polyp but thats been removed now so cycle back to normal.

I'll tell you my story. It might not be what you want to here but it may be of use. Feb 2016 I had a Misscarriage at 11 weeks and had surgical removal. Periods went back to normal pretty much strait away. End of April had a normal period that stopped for a day but then the bleeding restarted. Some days just when wiping, some days very watery but just enough for a pad, some days pinky some days like brown spotting. Couldn't get a gp appointment for ages by the time I saw them I'd been bleeding for 3-4 weeks. They did a urine pregnancy test which was positive. They thought it was 'retained product' from the Misscarriage. A scan showed it wasn't. Had swabs and smear done at gynae at the hospital checking for all manor of things and they prescribed me some meds in case it was some hormonal imbalance and that would stop the bleeding. Blood tests showed It was infact an ectopic pregnancy.

Oh no I'm so sorry. I had my period in Dec it finished on 26th it lasted 4 days. I've been to the doctors on Friday and I'm booked in for a smear on Wednesday. She told me to take a test so I have and it was negative. She said I'd the bleeding carrys on to go back. Xx

It's never happened to me before. I wouldn't care normally just every morning when it's there and it's heavy it's worrying. Then there's nowt there the rest of the day and I'm like eh what's going on. Xx

So spotting is still on and off and it's brown in colour now had nothing all day yesterday then went to the toilet around 5pm and had what I can only describe and a gush when I looked In the toilet there was some blood not alot but enough to notice. Then since then I've had nothing last night or today until about an hour I went for a wee and after i finished I was just about to stand up and had another gush was only a bit of blood but enough to make a gush. I'm in at the doctors tomoz morning as I keep getting pains on my right side on and off that last around 5 seconds . Should I be worried. What could it be has anyone had this before xx
