Hi ladies,

I'm new to this and usually just read other people's posts but I really wanted some advice for my specific situation.

So me and my partner decided in September (2017)that we wanted to try and conceive and I got my merina coil removed on the 2nd of November (2017). I was told that my periods should go back to normal almost automatically and that I should wait until my first period had passed before trying to conceive.
Right enough my period arrived 7th November and lasted 5 days (which is normal for me) so after this we were actively trying to conceive.
My cycles are usually between 25 and 29 days long and always have been.
And here I am into January and still no period and have taken a hpt every week since but all negatives.
I did go to my gp yesterday but that wasn't much help as she completely contradicted what she had told me the first time I visited her when my coil was removed.
She told my this time that my periods might be a bit irregular and to go back onto condoms until I have a few cycles of my period.

I am not desperate to have a baby immediately but it's bothering me that I keep getting negative hpt results but no period.

I would love it if you could give me some advice on my situation.
Thank you☺️
