Very faint bfp frer 9dpo after chemical pregnancy/ early miscarriage last month.

Hi, just as the title says really. Is there any hope? I had an early miscarriage last month at around 5weeks. This is from this afternoon and I am 9dpo, but it’s a squinter, although a little clearer in real life. It was done with quite weak urine. Does anyone have any thoughts or positive stories of similar?

@Lineeye yes! That's what I want to do! When you stopped bleeding did you take a pregnancy test and see if it was negative? They told me to wait two weeks, take a preggo test then wait for another period. I think I may have stopped bleeding today so I was considering taking the preggo test tomorrow.

@peachesarenom you just have to wait for beg test really. My doctor said the only reason to wait for next period is for dating reasons, that's all. I've never heard of 8 weeks, I just waited two weeks after, got a negative test and started trying again.

@peachesarenom I've found it frustrating the past couple of months, I've been really down and feeling empty but this month I'm feeling a bit more upbeat. I'm 6/7dpo today, took a test this morning because I've been having symptoms but was negative, still a while to happen though. I set myself an unrealistic target after my mc and thought I'd get pregnant again straight away and that just put more stress on me. I'm setting myself the target of Christmas this time, plenty of time. If this month isn't my month next month we'll be trying SMEP and preseed. Lingering on here has helped me be more optimistic for sure

peaches I took a test before bleeding had finished, it was almost negative when the bleeding started as I was so early on, about 4.5-5 weeks. It was then completely negative a day or two before bleeding stopped.

Also, sorry to hear about everyone’s losses. It’s so hard, not just at the time but also in subsequent pregnancies

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I just want to get on with it. In the hopes it'll happen for me asap.

@DaisyMay25 @peachesarenom I had a CP on 16th December. I was 4.5 weeks. Doctors were hopeless. I waited 5 days and did another test (after bleeding had stopped) complete negative. I then started doing SMEP from then on and I am now two days into my tww. It's torture. I wish you both lots of luck xx

I think I prefer to test more often because at least then I feel like I’m doing something, and I’d rather know before than to get my hopes up then be surprised by blood iyswim.

I’ve just taken another frer, 12 hours after this morning’s one and the line is slightly darker again, and came up straight away this time.

Considering your wee will be much-diluted by now, that's a great sign.

This is this evening’s line. It’s getting darker and I’m ever hopeful, although have really struggled emotionally today. It really is an awful limbo to be in.

That's looking great @Lineeye! I can sympathise with the limbo feeling, I'm the same! I'm 5 weeks and have a scan booked in for next Friday. Feel like that's my next step up from the constant pregnancy testing!

I hope all goes well @Fia256 , the anxiety is crippling me at the moment and I’m trying to stay calm! It’s horrible not being able to feel happy or excited about it, isn’t it? If I get to 5 weeks then I think I will book an early scan too. How many weeks will you be when you go for your scan?

Bless you, it's horrible isn't it. I go from thinking positive to just assuming it'll all go wrong constantly! I will be 6+5 at the scan if all goes well. That one will be nhs due to the last 4 ending in miscarriage, but will more than likely pay for a private one at 9 weeks if the nhs don't want to scan again before the 12 week! It's just a constant worry isn't it!

I will have to pay privately if I want an early scan, although the early scan I had with my 3rd pregnancy which resulted in my dd was nhs. I was 6w3d when I had that and they saw a heartbeat. I’m too afraid to cross over to the pregnancy board and join the September antenatal club just yet. I hope your scan goes well, I’m sure it will be fine.

I'm 11dpo, done SMEP, can't get excited until after AF. Hoping this one sticks around.

Hi, I’m currently 9dpo and have been feeling a bit nauseous and had some light cramping, sore boobs have started today. I took at FRER test this afternoon about 4pm and convinced I can see a very very faint line. Looking for some reassurance- not going to get excited until a clearer results. Thanks

Ladies has anyone had faint postive with first response before period and had positive results?
I'm 10 daysdpo and I thought I seen a very VERY faint line on first response, but only when I hold it in a certain spot. Then clear blue seems negative? Please help tell me if you can see anything xx

I've had similar I'm not sure if you can see it but in person mine looks like yours, I'm 9days dpo, sending you baby dust xx
