Hello,
I am looking for advise as me and DH are ttc our 2nd child. We have a 6yr old already. We were not ttc when i concieved him and we would love to give him a sibling.

I am a natural worrier. I worry i am too old now at 31. I was on cilest pill for 5years and came off in oct 2017. I know it hasnt been long trying but i have myself convinced something is wrong as i concieved whilst on the pill to have our son.

How long did it take any1 else to concieve after coming off cilest? I have started to check my cervix also and last month it was low and firm and lots of milky white discharge (sorry tmi) and i had A LOT of usual early pregnancy/AF coming symptoms. In the end AF came. This month i know i ovulated 30th dec. I have had very little symptoms of cramping compared to last, and my cervix for last week has been high and firm. Yesterday it was medium and soft. And now its gone back high and firmish. Not a lot of discharge this month either. Temp 2days ago was 37.0 and yesterday was 36.5 and today 36.4. I am so confused and driving myself crazy. Want to be pregnant so badly.

Please tell me im not the only one who goes through this mad phase and if anyone else has had these symptoms and lead to a BFP or AF.

Thankyou :) x

Cervical position and cervical mucus are ONLY indicators of when you are fertile and nothing more. After ovulation, your cervix moves up and down throughout the day and your cm can range from thick and milky to thin and watery and honestly it means nothing. I used to check my cervix and sometime it would be high enough that I couldn’t reach it then my period would show up the next day. I assume you’re not long into your ttc journey, symptom spotting is pointless and you will drive yourself insane with it. No symptoms you experience in your tww are pregnancy related. Pregnancy symptoms occur around week 4-5 of a pregnancy, not from the moment of conception (people will claim they do but biologically speaking, they just don’t) Try not to overthink everything. Temping is the best way to track things, I would leave your cervix alone and pay no attention to your cm. Good luck!

It’s always just best to wait until AF is late rather than spend two weeks driving yourself crazy. Hope you get your bfp soon :)
