Confused about ewcm

I am on cd8 after a strange period last week that lasted a day and was only blood when I wiped (tested on my af due date but negative). Yesterday I had ewcm and today it is clear and stretchy. Not quite liquid yet. Does this mean that ovulation is imminent?

This is only my second month off the pill and maybe my cycle is trying to regulate but day 8 seems early? my cycle was 25 days last month, before the pill it was 28.

If you have a 25 day cycle and ovulate that cycle, a typical 14 day luteal phase would put ov and about cd 10.

I'm not saying you have regular 25 days cycles or a 'typical' luteal phase or even that you will ovulate, but no - that wouldn't be super early for you to have ewcm...

Thanks for the reply. I meant to say, last month my luteal phase was 11 days. Just a bit concerned that my cycles will be super short and with light periods I'm not sure if I should worry or not. But it is early days. I'm mid 30s.
