Upset stomach

Hi, this is my first month TTC, currently on day 15 of my cycle. We started trying just before my last period and I'm like clockwork on a 28 day cycle.
I've noticed since New Year's Day I've had an upset stomach and I'm very gassy from both ends 🌬 Could this be an early sign or just coincidence?

If youre only day 15 of your cycle, you were day 10 on new yrs so you wouldn't have even ovulated yet.

Check out how the cycle works and what the timings are.

That's what I was thinking too, just seems odd to have lasted this long, having cramps but not sure whether it's from my stomach or not.
We DTD on day 28 and then started again on day 7 about every other day until now.

You are in with a chance but you simply can't get pregnant till you ovulate which likely happened in the last couple of days. Not at New Years. So no, the New Years symptoms are absolutely categorically not pregnancy. Some people aware they had signs right from conception but it's rare, disputable and you will only have just conceived if at all.

Just try googling how pregnancy happens and how the cycle works.

Even if you had conceived, as has already been said, the upset stomach since NY isn’t related. No symptoms before the 4/5th week of pregnancy are actually pregnancy related. Also when you DO conceive, it takes around 7-10 days for the embryo to implant so you’re actually not technically pregnant until then. So for you, around day 21-24 of your cycle. So to answer your question, it’s purely coincidence. Your first months of ttc you will find you have many strange symptoms but none of them are pregnancy related. As PP said, you can’t get pregnant before you ovulate so you simply just had an upset stomach.

Haha feel a bit silly for posting now but thank you both for your advice 😊 I was aware of the ovulation stuff and the days when you should be testing but just thought I'd check anyway. I suppose for the first month I'm gonna be symptom spotting for definite, fingers crossed it happens soon 🤞🏻 Very new to all of this

Don’t feel silly :) we all go a bit crazy in the first few months of ttc! Good luck
