Think I might be pregnant

1st month of ttc think I'm 9dpo on Monday I had a twinge under my c section scar at work while I was active felt like bundle of nerves then the following day can only say I experienced what felt like spd had really sharp shooting pains in my pubic bone it lasted 10 mins. Then yesterday woke up with thrush. It's technically a bit too early to test unless I ovulated early but if I squint I can see the faintest faintest of lines I'll have to poas again on the morning. I'm wondering is it even possible to feel spd before even getting a strong line- I have a physical job so was stretching. Been panini king the stabbing pain could mean its ectopic,... that's if I am in fact pregnant. Was super hungry yesterday and that's unlike me.

Are you sure that pain wasn't ovulation? It would have been WAY to early for implantation, which happens on average at 9 dpo.

Frer are pretty accurate from about 11 or 12 dpo (their stats suggest they detect about 90% of pregnancies by 12 dpo). So you'll just have to wait and see, I suppose!

If you're feeling symptoms from pregnancy, you'd have a positive test. Anything else is just pms. That's not to say that you aren't pregnant, just that these symptoms are unlikely to be from pregnancy itself if you don't have a strong positive test.

I got ewcm on the 24th so could have ovulated early. I got a positive opk on the 27th so I don't think the pain on 2nd jan could have been ovulation

It’s your first month of ttc, you need to relax a bit. Symptoms you get during the tww are not pregnancy symptoms and you absolutely wouldn’t have SPD at 9dpo. You will get all sorts of pains and twinges and cramps along with other symptoms like sore boobs, fatigue, loss of apetite, peeing more etc but these are NOT pregnancy related. You don’t get pregnancy symptoms until you’re around 4-5 weeks pregnant and by then you would be getting a strong positive test. That’s not to say you’re not pregnant but anything you’re feeling right now is not related whatsoever. It’s totally normal to have symptoms that are not usual for you when you start to ttc. I’ve been ttc for 14 months now and still get weird symptoms in my tww that I’ve not had before. It’s PMS and nothing more.

I totally get what you are saying I conceived 1st month of trying with my first child. I just wondered if I ovulated early as I can see a faint line on the test but can't really get a good photo

I know it would be very unusual to happen twice but I just feel pregnant

It’s entirely possible that you are pregnant. Most people who conceive on cycle one first time round do go on to conceive easily other times. It’s just that the symptoms you’re feeling are not related. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve felt pregnant in the last 14 months. I’ve not been pregnant once in that time.

Ok thanks I was just worried about the sharp pains I could hardly walk- it was so odd it felt just like spd that started at 9 weeks last time. I couldn't believe it could be that if I was although my osteopath says my pelvis is still not quite aligned. Thankyou

I conceived in cycle 2, cycle 1 I was absolutely convinced I'd conceived as I was tired, nauseas, had bad cramps from ovulation, 2 days late on and then came on. Cycle 2 I barely felt anything, didn't 'feel' pregnant and planned to just track with OPKs and BBT to see if I could get a base line for the following month and I found out at 9-10dpo so it is possible. I ovulated CD13-14 and had an implantation dip 5 dpo. Everyone is different, try not to get too stress about it and test in a couple of days (easier said than done I know), if it doesn't happen cycle 1, I found cycle 2 less stressful and didn't pressure myself as much. Also followed SMEP cycle 2!

Thankyou I've only just read about smep! You're right about relaxing I think cos of last time I just had this stress around the first month. We didn't do smep but dtd for 8 days starting with the two days before I was due to ovulate. Trying not to get hopes up I only tested early today because of this pain and the fact I think I have thrush which sometimes can be an early sign although gp yesterday said to expect thrush when ttc due to lots of sex!
