Hi, my husband and I have started trying for baby number 2. I am waiting to see if my period is late which is due in a weeks time. I havebeen experiencing some cramps for the past 3 days which have been on and off. Does anyone know what these cramps could be. When my period is due I get cramps 24hrs before and I’m like clockwork. I’ve read it could be implantation but I don’t want to get my hopes up. I’m I being silly? I stupidly took a early pregnancy test as I lack impatience and I think I can see a faint line but don’t want to get too excited if it’s nothing. I can’t seem to upload a photo to show you all

Could be ovulation pains but sounds promising!! Goodluck xx

It’d be early to see a line but depends on when you ovulated and the cramps could be either. It’s really hard to know and not symptom spot when you’re ttc. Test again with an early response just before you’re due your period. Good luck!

AF is due on Wednesday so I’ll try and wait till then to do any more tests. According to my 2 period apps i have,1 said I ovulated 27th and the other 28th so they are a day out from each other. It’s only been a week I know, I’m just being impatient

It’s hard not to be!

I couldn’t tell you what the cramps are but a good way to see if you’re pregnant is to track your cm.
before your period, you essentially ‘dry up’, so if you get a lot of cm, it’s often a good indicator that you may have conceived.
It was how I found out I was pregnant :)

I hope you get your bfp xx

SB2017 · 05/01/2018 09:11

That’s quite interesting because I didn’t track my cm with my first but I have this time round and it isn’t dry. I’m going away for the weekend so I’m hoping that will distract me from tests.
However funny story, the friends I’m seeing tomorrow have a dog who last time I was pregnant gave it away because she growled when my husband came near me or hug me. She never ever did that before and stopped doing it when I had the baby! Maybe she will be mypregnancy year! Haha

You should continue to get a lot of cm if you’ve conceived. It’s your body getting the bacteria away from the baby :)

And spend all your time with that dog!! Lol keep asking your DH to hug you lol

SB2017 · 05/01/2018 16:20

Haha, I’ll keep checking my CM and hanging out with the dog. My period is due on tuesday according to one app and Thursday on the other so I’ll take a test then

Wishing you loads of luck! Keep us posted :) xx

SB2017 · 05/01/2018 19:57

So I’ve just been to the toilet and I’m really sorry if this is too much information but I’ve a lot of CM discharge. Not to sound graphic but it’s clear and sticky and like a bogey consistance. There was loads of it! Anyone else experienced this!!

If you are around 7dpo, it could be ewcm from the secondary oestrogen surge. I often get cramps anytime from 5dpo - no idea what they are.

SB2017 · 05/01/2018 20:18

Hey. Sorry what’s EWCM I’m not good on all the abbreviations. I’ve had cramps today but not as painful just that nagging sensation.

Sorry, it’s normally the fertile mucus (egg-white fertile mucus) you get around ovulation. But it can also appear around 7dpo.

SB2017 · 05/01/2018 20:29

If I did ovulate I would be around 9dpo by now but I’m so confused I don’t know what to think or do.
