Stressing , possibly pregnant??

I came off BC patch in October, had withdrawal bleeding after 3 days and normal period 28days later , this month I'm 8 days late, I'm having hot flashes (my face goes bring red and I boil up) has happened 3 times in past 2 weeks, heartburn past 2 days , high cervix , nauseous, fatigue and so thirsty , especially at night . Tested when af was 2 days late at night time and had drank water before hand ( realized that's not how your supposed to do it after) could I possibly be pregnant or just part of coming off the birth control patch?

So that test was negative I assume? I would do another one tomorrow. If still nothing and no af then ask your GP for a blood test.

Have you had unprotected sex since coming off the patch? If so then you could be pregnant. Have you done a pregnancy test?

Yeah sorry test was negative, but wondering would tested at 11pm and drinking water before hand give a negative test ? Yeah done the deed during ovulation. Wondering if all these symptoms are normal when coming off BC and maybe that's they cause of it ?When I got negative test I accepted it but when symptoms got worse I'm starting to question it

It's not impossible you're pregnant but it's unlikely given the negative test and frankly given the symptoms you're describing I'd be getting tested for diabetes or thyroid issues if they persist.

Coming off hormonal contraception can cause several months of irregular periods and pregnancy-like "symptoms", but if you were 8 days late on your period you'd get a clear positive at any time of day no matter what you'd drunk.

Thanks for your reply . I booked an appointment to get blood work done to test for diabetes and thyroid as the symptoms are more along those lines. The appointment is in 3 hours . A few minutes after making the appointment I took a pregnancy test just to be 100% sure to rule it out and it's POSITIVE ! Took 4 more tests , 2 different brands as I was shocked as I'd only got a negative this day last week! Just shows that drinking before hand can give a false negative. I thought taking a test once a period was missed would give a true result but obviously not. I'm 9 days late with my period today and only getting positive now . So shocked and so happy.
