Still in fertile week or not? Confused about dates!

Hello everyone!

Had my last AF on 18/12/17 and it finished 24/12/17. Clearblue opk showed peak fertility (still smiley) on Friday 29/12/17. Basically I want to know if I’m still in my fertile window as me and dh have been dtd everyday (twice a day on most) and I’m knackered! But Want to know if I’m going to miss vital days?

Still trying to get my head round working out my fertile week tbh :/

Any help would be great! X

Hey @Birchgirl

You should download Ovia or Flo app (more are available... they're just the ones I know of and use)

Pop the info into the app that you've mentioned above and it'll give you info on your fertile week etc. Obviously not 100% fool proof, but will give you a very good indication of dates etc.

Once you get peak, you're likely to only be fertile for a maximum of 3 days. Max. That is, of course, if you ov from that lh surge (which is likely, but not conclusive).

According to the Glo app I use (some weird shit on there but overall helpful!) users who dtd every day (once - remember your dh aint a robot +sperm count needs to replenish!) log more bfp than users who don't dtd every day!!
And also i conceived my 2 x dd's on day 23 of a 28 day cycle a year apart!!

@HeresMeh I think I’m going to download Ovia tonight. I’ve heard a few people mention that one. Thank you!

@physicskate so am I right in thinking that tonight onwards would just be for fun? Obviously assuming that I’ve ovulated this month? X

@Figrollsnotfatrolls I know I’m trying so hard not to treat him like one but I feel more determined this month haha so doing it everyday is the best way to go then? X

Sorry for sounding dim! X

I got positive ovulation on 30th December we dtd 29,30,31 xx

Birchgirl · 03/01/2018 21:45

@Brownbear84 thank you that helps a lot. Just always have that niggeling feeling that I might miss a vital day. Doesn’t help that all different online calculators show different dates!

Thanks again Smile

I think it's usually 3 days before and 3 days after are fertile time. I couldn't track my before this time as it was my first month trying since been of the pill xxx

That’s really good to know!

At least now I know I can have a break without missing vital days haha x

I don't feel any different though so I don't think I've caught this month but then should I feel different? I don't even know haha! Due af around 15th jan xx

According to Google (!), women often don't experience any symptoms at all until about 2 weeks after conception. So you may have been lucky. That's what I'm telling myself anyway cos if cramps (and the Ovia app) are to be believed, I was ovulating for the last 2-3 days. Can I wait two weeks to test though!? Doubtful...

Birchgirl · 04/01/2018 13:14

I’m trying so hard not to symptom spot this month but I can’t help myself. Feel a bit bloated today and trying to convince myself it’s a symptom (mad I know!). So stressful cause I feel like I’ve done everything ‘right’ this month but it’s just up to my body now i guess x
