Hi all, first time poster so sorry if this has been asked before.... Just looking for some reassurance / tips on how to stop literally pissing my money away on test strips!

Does anyone have tips for the best time of day to use LH strips? I'm doing them whenever the Natural Cycles app tells me to, but not had a single positive yet even when the app finds ovulation. Confused

I will be following your thread as I am in the same boat!! Already wasted 20 of them and no positive test yet in 2 weeks. Waiting for AF to arrive now :( x

Try not to rely too much on the apps, they are programmed to automatically calculate times based on what bbt you put in. Sometimes they do get it wrong. Listen to your bodily signs... cervical mucus, cervix position, any cramping in your pelvis as well as temperature. Test from around CD9 every day and when a line begins to appear, do it twice a day so you dont miss your surge. Good luck

Thanks HoneyCake, I'm finding it hard not to obsess a bit! I have had some cramps so hopefully that means I'm around the right time.

Good luck Leanne!

The best advice I've seen recently is to test later in the day for ovulation, like early to late afternoon. I always thought it was First Morning Urine but I've had better results later in the day.
