Needing opinions.. never posted on here before so have to bare with🙂..

So I'm on the pill & have been for years.. I started a new pack a few weeks ago and after taking the first 3 I realised they were a couple of months out of date.. by this time had already had unprotected sex..(now of course I have pills in date) i also was late taking a pill too as fell asleep and then woke up at like 3am and took it..
the last week or so I've felt different.. don't know if I'm just imagining it but I've felt incredibly sick for the first hour or two when getting up.. I have period like cramping which is unusual for me until I am actually on my period.. & my nipples are horrendously itchy...
surely I wouldn't have all these signs so soon?

Someone help? 😊😊

You’re right. You could still be pregnant though.

What type of pill are you on? Taking it at the same time is only really a thing with the progesterone only pill.

Should have said above, if you’re pregnant enough for symptoms, you should get a positive test.

I am on a combined pill, cilest.. take 21 and have a 7 day break 🙂

When you got the new pills, what did the doctor say about possible pregnancy?

He said I should take precaution for the rest of the month but obviously it was a bit late for that haha because I hadn't realised they were expired ooops!! X

What I meant was, when you told them you’d already had unprotected sex, what did they say? If it was only the first three pills that had expired you’d have been in the window for emergency contraception.

You went to the doctor because your pills had expired and they didn’t ask if you’d had unprotected sex and you didn’t think to mention it? Ok...

Do you want to be pregnant?

If you're on a combi pill OP then the timing (taking late at 3am) doesn't really matter - it's only with the mini pill that you need to be religious about taking it on time. Hope that assuages one of your concerns!

I spoke to the doctor over the phone & it had been a bit of a whirlwind week & if I'm honest I didn't really think lol..

It's unlikely you're pregnant. Take a test.

I have been on cilest for 8 years and stopped taking its few months ago to try for my first baby. You could be pregnant, but it is very unlikely. I used to get itchy nipples on cilest no idea why but happened about 4-5 times a year xx
