Pale line on first response an hour after testing (twice)

I took a first response test 10dpo, negative. Tested again 13dpo (yesterday) again negative, but when I looked at the test about an hour later there was a v v v faint pink line visible if I held it up to the light. Got quite excited so tested again following morning (14dpo)- nothing showing on the 3 minutes but the same pale pink line showed within about an hour, but still v v pale- no change from yesterday. I randomly found the test I'd done at 11dpo, and that one is stark white. AF due today but no show yet. I know I should really just wait a few days and re test if still no AF. But it's so so hard to wait and not obsess about it constantly! Has anyone ever had anything similar with a pale line showing hours later? Thanks!

I had a really strange one this month! I've not posted it on here yet but this is what happened!

Did a frer at 8dpo with fmu. It was bfn but as usual I over inspected and swore I could see something (the same "something" I think I can see every month)!! So like a full on obsessive weirdo I popped it in my bag, took it to work then when there, took it apart and assessed it further. By that point (a good 2 hours after taking it) I decided it was a bfn, so clumsily put it back together. One of the spongy things inside that absorbs the wee had got stuck behind the test strip and to my absolute amazement, when I was leaving working I noticed it had a clear pink line (picture attached but not so obvious in the pic). Decided this was impossible and clearly false due to me taking test apart. Took another frer that afternoon and low and behold I got a super faint line!! That was 6 days ago and now my line is darker than the control line

Pretty much everyone can argue that you shouldn't do what I did and to disregard the test if it shows positive, but I've done it many times and it's only ever come up with the grey colourless line and never turned pink!

Better add when I say my line is darker than the control line now, obviously I mean that as a different test, not the crazy colour changing one

I got a very faint bfp at 10 dpo so faint I wasn’t sure. Left it for 2 hours and it got darker and was pink.

Thanks for your replies! Well I have my answer now as AF just showed up ☹️Crazy how you can convince yourself. That will teach me not to read tests hours later I guess! Oh well, fingers crossed for better luck next month!
