I'm intrigued by the older mums trying at 40 plus - can i just ask how old are your partners?? Do they mind being an older dad?
Is 50 too old for a dad? I'm coming up to 40 soon..

Hi @rabbitrabbit12 I don't believe there is a right or wrong age no such thing in my opinion as been too old for a child (without been too silly) I think aslong as your both happy and both want a child and will love them, that's what been a parent is all about! Goodluck (I'm sick of people judging me and my life saying im too young I'm 23 and have been with my DH for nearly 8 years and we are ttc #1 we have our own house and stable jobs and we are both ready for our next stage in life) xx

Hi. I was married befor3 but ended up a widow at 34. No kids. He was previously married and has grown up kids. He's very excited about the prospect of more children. I got pregnant very quickly after we got married but it sadly ended in a MMC. Been trying since but nothing happening. I'm starting to worry that as I'm 39, it may not happen .

I'm just shy of 40, DH is just shy of 45. Neither of us have any children, we met later in life so just now TTC. I don't have high hopes of success but I don't think we are too old, if our bodies are capable.

I’m 41.5 and ttc#3. DH is 44. We are definitely not too old as our two young kids keep us young. Age is just a number.

Are you think of trying OP or just curious about others of your age? If so how old is your partner and how does he / she feel about becoming an older dad?

I'd like another child but DP is 55 - thinking he may be too old. Hes open to the idea but would need a vasectomy reversal.
All maybe too much hassle and may not get pregnant anyway :|
