78th day of no period....

As the title suggests, I haven't had a period since the 18th October. I came off cerazette at the start of June and have had irregular cycles since but this is by far the longest.

DH and I are TTC and I last took a pregnancy test at the start of December so I'm fairly confident I'm not pregnant (we were both sick after that and didn't have any inclination to DTD).

We finally DTD on 26th and 27th December and yesterday I had really sore breasts and some cramps and EWCM in the morning for the first time in a long time, but we only managed to DTD late last night. Im mildly cramping this morning and have watery CM. These long cycles are so confusing! Is there a chance we might've caught ovulation this month? How long should I wait before testing?

Definitely never ending nothing happening with bfn are worse. Least with AF you know you’re working ;)

Hi everyone. I too am confused as to what's going on. I stopped Cerazette on Dec 31st and it has now been almost 3 weeks and I have had no bleed whatsoever! I have been doing daily Ovulation tests and all have been negative. For 2 weeks my boobs were very sore and I was getting cramps and tightness below and though AF was on the way, but still nothing. I am now worried that TTC will take a lot longer than first thought! Does anyone know is it possible to ovulate after stopping the pill without having a bleed first?

Yes it’s possible however it takes a while for your progesterone levels to develop again. It took me two months before anything happened and I definitely ovulated a few weeks ago so you can get pregnant before you ever have your first post pill real period

I'm in the same place as you! My last mini pill (cerelle) was 10th Dec 2017. No AF as of yet and a BFN on 8th Jan.

Had cramps and sore boobs on and off over the last 5 weeks.

DTD lots as there is s chance of mayb conceiving before I get AF back.

Not sure when to test next x

I love this thread. I've felt truly miserable today, even after scoring a haul of Aldi baby bargains.
I googled how abortion can affect your fertility. I had one 3 years ago and it says you can get PID (pelvic inflammatory disorder) which can have serious implications on your fertility. So now I'm sat at my desk feeling sick to my stomach. I just wish I could talk to a Doctor over the phone rather than wait a week for an appointment and have to sneak out of work to go to it.

Ohhh Riley don’t think like that. It’s probably just one of those pro life sites that’s spreading doom and gloom. Isn’t there loads of info out there that says it doesn’t effect future fertility!

Hopefully the dr can set your mind at rest a bit. In the meantime stress isn’t going to help. One thing you could do to de stress and try to help us perhaps get a private fertility acupuncture appointment? That doesn’t have to be in work time and anecdotally I’ve beeb told it works. Been looking at it myself

@LifeOfRiley63 I don't think that would be the case, Can you not call your doctors and request a call back? I live in Ireland and we have that option. I know you will have heard this a million times, but worrying wont help things along. Hope you are ok x

Thank you lovely ladies. I needed to hear your words of kindness today. I can't talk to anyone at work or my friends because they're either not TTC or don't know I'm TTC.
I've just found an acupuncture place RIGHT across the road from my work, result! I will be going to have a look at that very soon!

LifeOfRiley63 What does acupuncture do? Yes as you say if friends etc aren't TTC or they don't know its tough not to overthink!

The Mumbo jumbo says it unlocks the fertility pathways. I’m not sure how reliable that is but studies have shown it decreases stress I think which does help

@Tinker315b and @gossipgirl28. I’m in the same situation! Came off 29th dec. nothing yet but lots of gurgling in the tummy and very sore boobs! Fingers crossed for you x

@Loz604 here’s hoping! All day and night I’ve had cramps again and achy legs so it feels something is happening! I will keep you all updated.

The bloating in my tummy is nothing short of horrendous again today.... I honestly look 5 months pregnant with it. I'm sure it's a side effect of not having AF but it's depressing

19 days late. Nausea is strong today as are the headaches. No spotting but there was a spot of bright red blood when I wiped earlier. Thought this was AF, but no further bleeding. 😒
