78th day of no period....

As the title suggests, I haven't had a period since the 18th October. I came off cerazette at the start of June and have had irregular cycles since but this is by far the longest.

DH and I are TTC and I last took a pregnancy test at the start of December so I'm fairly confident I'm not pregnant (we were both sick after that and didn't have any inclination to DTD).

We finally DTD on 26th and 27th December and yesterday I had really sore breasts and some cramps and EWCM in the morning for the first time in a long time, but we only managed to DTD late last night. Im mildly cramping this morning and have watery CM. These long cycles are so confusing! Is there a chance we might've caught ovulation this month? How long should I wait before testing?

Hi Ladies, I have a doctors appointment today also to see what they say. I've now been off Cerazette for 5 weeks and still nothing at all, done another test yesterday morning and it was a BFN also! To think that this can go on for a lot more weeks, I don't think I could cope.

Would you recommend trying some agnus cactus?

Hey Spades, I’ve been pregnant twice before. First time it was like niagra falls down there and the second nothing so wouldn’t worry too much.

Gossip: you need to start before CD10. I got my peak on CD either 10 or 11 this month. Still can’t remember if there was red blood on the 16th so not sure which was CD1. Hopefully the egg was released at least 24hrs later so it’s nice and mature lol.

Been waking up in the night to pee again and random wet down there but it’s only DPO 4 so guessing it’s hormones rather than anything else 🙄

Ah! Af arrived this morning ( I’m guessing it’s af not withdrawal) I’ve never been so excited but bit of a shock after 8 years without!!

@LifeOfRiley63 The doctor asked if I have done any pregnancy tests and I said I've done 2 and both have been negative, she advised me to take 2 tests a week for the next 2 weeks and she said if their still negative and still no period then to go back for some blood tests. I am a bit crampy today, but its probably nothing. How are you getting on? xx

Tink did I see that it’s been 5 weeks? The pill stops progesterone production etc and it takes a while for your hormones to balance. They thought 3 months was normal when I asked.

@Tinker315b I have to admit, I'm a bit jealous of how cooperative your Doctor is being after 5 weeks when mine tells me to sit and wait after 14 weeks Humph. x

@Karigan1 Yes its been 5 weeks, she said it is normal for it to take 6 months to get pregnant with your first and not worry. But she did say that Cerazette leaves your system in 12 hours and usually a period should start almost instantly. In my case it hasn't, so she said 2 weeks more and if still nothing then for me to come back for bloods rather than wait.

@LifeOfRiley63 Sorry, I have an excellent doctor and she's very very good. So as I say if nothing in 2 weeks then I've to go back, she's allowing 7 weeks either for a period or a positive pg test. Have you had a period yet at all since stopping? x

I've had bugger all, no withdrawl bleed or AF in over 100 days since stopping Cerelle. Wish I had your Doctor! x

@LifeOfRiley63 No I wasn't saying you were, sorry if I came across that way! I am completely with you, obviously yours has been longer. I have made it very clear to my hubby, that never again will I ever go onto that pill again. Its soo frustrating because its the not knowing. Hopefully I get AF in 2 weeks and if not I will make sure and let you know what my doctor says and blood tests etc. I have had nothing bar weird spotting last week, its horrible :-( Just glad I have people to talk to who are going through the same xx

I would say postitive. But that’s why I like the Clearblue ones that have a big smiley face so there’s no doubt!

Ps this is the pink one I did same day I got peak on the clear blue

@RD2011 I would also say that is definitely a positive!

OMGGGGG so would you guys suggest using a clear blue to be sure?

@RD2011 Do you have a clear blue? I work in a company and we manufacture and sell Ovulation and Pregnancy tests, that test you have used is what im using and most of the time they are just as accurate as our digital ones, if you have more sticks I would do another test around 4-6pm and see if its still as dark! But to my eyes it looks more or less the same shade as the control line. But if you have a clear blue, try it also.

No it’s a postive just go and grab your guy lol.

I just use Clearblue because I like the smiley face. Those ones seem just as good

@Tinker315b thank you for your advice, im completely knew this ovulation testing, i have another test so will do it between the times you have said... so worried it will be negative when i retest

@RD2011 Me too! I done one this morning and was quite dark almost like yours but slightly lighter, so will try again this evening and see. Its like an addiction once you do one. Just make sure you don't drink anything for at least 2 hours and if you can go a bit longer then do so. Good luck, let us know how you get on [smile[ xx

Awww good luck to you!! I've been so worried recently with not having any periods, but this has been a ray of light!! Bring on 4-6pm tonight!!!!
