78th day of no period....

As the title suggests, I haven't had a period since the 18th October. I came off cerazette at the start of June and have had irregular cycles since but this is by far the longest.

DH and I are TTC and I last took a pregnancy test at the start of December so I'm fairly confident I'm not pregnant (we were both sick after that and didn't have any inclination to DTD).

We finally DTD on 26th and 27th December and yesterday I had really sore breasts and some cramps and EWCM in the morning for the first time in a long time, but we only managed to DTD late last night. Im mildly cramping this morning and have watery CM. These long cycles are so confusing! Is there a chance we might've caught ovulation this month? How long should I wait before testing?

They really should. DP was convinced I was pregnant and getting irritated I kept telling him it was unlikely lol. I even got morning nausea. The pill sucks!!

Same here, I had the sorest boobs which is something I have never ever had before. Also terrible skin. Luckily that's all gone now & it seems to finally settle down after a few months.

Double checked with a cheapie in case the cb was broken since there were no flashing faces and it’s defintely a surge :)

I'm mildly cramping today...more so on the right side. However my OPKs are still faint..maybe I'm one of those women they don't work for?

Karigan your opk looks like the darkest one i got on wednesday. Would you say that's positive? Mine all went weaker after that.

I tried the cb monitor (during my 90 day cycle) and it obviously didn't work...i used up all the sticks an only got 1 flashing smiley and no solid. They're a bit expensive so I'm sticking to the cheapies for now!

Strange symtoms today. Big gush of creamy CM (to the point I thought ooh yah, AF is here!!), pains right in my hoo-har on and off all day, monster appetite (demolished several bags of crisps in one sitting then got a McDonalds -shameful!) and still only two faint OPK lines today, humph.

Also agree, wish I'd known about the pregnancy symtoms after coming off the pill, I think its worthy of a public information broadcast!

I think we all might be getting a bit of luck girls! After spotting for 3 days at the start of the week, I done a pregnancy test this morning which was a BFN, then done an ovulation test at 6:45 and this is what it’s like! Would you say this may mean I might ovulate soon? Also my spotting may have been ovulation spotting and not IB. What do you think? Or am I getting my hopes up!

Tinker the test line has to be equal or darker than the control line for it to mean you're going to ovulate soon. Apparently a lot of women have trace levels of the hormone in their bodies at all times of the month so the presence of a 2nd line doesn't necessarily mean anything at all.

Don't mean to shatter your hopes, we're all in the same boat! My opks are getting fainter when I'd hoped they would get darker so I have no idea what's going on and I'm currently having a large glass of

@Karigan1. Oh ok hopefully be here soon then. I have had a rather unpleasant side effect of coming off the pill- sweat 🤢 I work with children so I am constantly on the go and yesterday I seemed to sweat loads. Made me paranoid so today I double dosed with deodorant and applied midday. Guess it’s the hormone imbalance but I’d rather cramps than excess sweat 😂
Anyone else experienced this?

@SpadesOfGlory Oh that’s ok then, read that earlier on too! I done a few before but never had even a faint line in the test line, so was chuffed when a faint line even appeared! I will just keep testing and dtd just incase

Lots of faint lines on my OPKs this weekend. And I've been getting quite frequent headaches too, I wondered if its to do with all these vitamins I'm taking?

Nope. Bit of cramping and twinging today but it quickly disappeared. Been an a ‘meh’ mood all day! Think AF is close x

Im in a similar situation as the OP. Came off in Sept 2017 and still no period... i was foolish in thinking i would become pregnant quickly... can anyone offer advice... is it worth taking ovulation tests?

@Loz604 yeh I'm on AF now. I was so happy that something was happening! Took 6 n half weeks after stopping cerelle pill! Was so frustrating, I started taking evening primrose oil 2 weeks before I got AF.

Hello, I cannot remember when i started it exactly, but i believe i may have been taking it about 3 years...

I have thought throughout this time that i may be seeing signs of AF as periodically i get lower back pain, headaches and cramping however nothing! [these were my previous signs]... I was previously on Marvelon however GP felt my low mood was attributed to this therefore switched to Cerazette

@gossipgirl28 Sadly I'm not an expert on OPKs. I've not had AF yet since I came off Cerelle in October so can't really advise. Most people seem to do it with first morning wee and when they get home from work. Xx

@RD2011 Have you tried taking any supplements? I am the same as you. I was on Cerelle for 3 years and came off in October. Not had AF or any bleeding yet. But I've started taking a whole heap of vitamins to try kick start things. Soya isoflavones, starflower oil, evening primrose, folic acid, agnus castus, magnesium and ordered some CQ10.

I havent... im completely new to this.. i never thought id have to wait so long for AF (feels like forever for me)... Is a call to the GP pointless.. is it best to start supplements?

No updates here really. Pretty sure I’ve ovulated sometime over the last day or so so really just entering the two week wait now. Dtd Friday Saturday and today so now just waiting lol.
