78th day of no period....

As the title suggests, I haven't had a period since the 18th October. I came off cerazette at the start of June and have had irregular cycles since but this is by far the longest.

DH and I are TTC and I last took a pregnancy test at the start of December so I'm fairly confident I'm not pregnant (we were both sick after that and didn't have any inclination to DTD).

We finally DTD on 26th and 27th December and yesterday I had really sore breasts and some cramps and EWCM in the morning for the first time in a long time, but we only managed to DTD late last night. Im mildly cramping this morning and have watery CM. These long cycles are so confusing! Is there a chance we might've caught ovulation this month? How long should I wait before testing?

I had my scan this afternoon and as I thought it was fairly early. Dated at around 6-7 weeks but enough to see a flicker of a heartbeat. So I missed my November period for some strange reason and must have ovulated about a week before Xmas. So on cycle day 65ish. And we were not dtd regularly at this point. Once in the week we must have conceived. Again just want to make you realise it is possible. I have my 12 week scan booked for early March. Yay LifeOfRiley I can see the faintest line, but it's there so something must be happening!

Here are my OPKs, today at the bottom. Line seems to be getting darker. But I know it doesn't really mean anything until it's at least as dark as the control...looks like a might have a few days to go yet!

I use the cb advanced digital as the lines drive me crazy!

Yes it really does. Had no signs of ovulation in December at all and first when we dtd a lot less than previous. So anything is possible. Waiting to see some more bfps on here soon, I don't think it will be long. Xx

I’m glad things are showing progress! I keep feeling like I might get AF but then I feel normal again like nothings happening.

Day 45 of mini pill and I have brown spotting! At last something! Wonder if this is the start of AF?!?

@LifeOfRiley63 Well I did an OPK last night about 11pm and it was really pale...barely there. Did another there now and it's got no second line at all!

So they got darker till 6pm yesterday and then weakened again..but they never actually turned positive. I haven't missed it have I? Surely I couldn't ovulate on day 11? Lol i am feeling slightly crampy today!

I've definitely read somewhere that opks don't work for some people... No idea why that is though. Did you get a chance to dtd before just incase it was missed?

@hungryradish yeah we DTD very late on Monday and Tuesday night..after midnight so not sure if it counts as Tuesday and Wednesday? Planning on tonight again if dh isnt too tired (working late)

I'm taking Agnus castus...not sure if I should stop now incase I've ovulated, or keep going? Any ideas?

AF has deffo arrived after 6 weeks! Happy that now I can officially start tracking my cycles! I can start using the apps properly X

My boobs aren’t as tender today but awful cramping this morning and on and off all day.

What app are you going to use? I know nothing about when ovulation starts and when to dtd- thought I’d wait for AF before I started worrying about that.

Loz if the boobs aren’t as tender something should happen soon. It’s the progesterone surge that makes the boobs hurt and when progesterone dips is when AF comes along.

@Loz604 I was on cerelle for about 5 months before I stopped it and before that the implant for about 6 years (had no AF at all whilst on cerelle and the implant)

Had period like cramps 2 weeks ago which must have been ovulation I think. No cramps atm (broke my elbow 2 days ago so on pain killers)

I'm using the Ovia fertility app and glow app

Great news gossipgirl! Wish something would happen with me because im getting slightly frustrated now .

I had that spotting for 3 days then it stopped, but since Sunday, the day before the spotting started I have had headaches and extreme tiredness. I done a pg test this morning, and a BFN!

The Ovia app tells me im ovulating everyday, but it doesn't have a clue because I cant even put in my last period, or cycle length!

So CD either 10 or 11 now. Yesterday I start the ovulation sticks - clear blue advanced digital. Yesterday a blank empty face. Partner has a cold so decided to let him sleep rather than jump on him.

This morning he’s just kissed me goodbye and is about to leave when the damn stick shows a static smiling peak face.

Lured him back in with the promise of a bj to get him started and now he’s late for work.

Are the damn sticks supposed to go from nothing to peak like that!!!

Anyway we dtd every day except yesterday and this morning so hopefully covered all bases.

I hope so! I think this most frustrating thing is having symptoms and nothing happening, ive never wanted AF as much in my life!

Oh tell me about it. Before AF finally showed I would have sworn I was pregnant if I hadn’t read on the internet that pill withdrawal mimics pregnancy. Huge sore boobs, cramps, bloating, waking up to pee. If you’re getting symptoms it’s probably not going to be much longer!

I do wish I'd known that about pill withdrawal symptoms before I came off it karigan haha felt like my body went absolutely crazy. They should really let people know these things shouldn't they :')

To be honest, I'm feeling really quite nauseous & not well. Cd78 bfn but something is going on in there for sure.
