Could I possibly be pregnant (also freaked out by my 3.5 year olds comment...)

We are not ttc as we have a 3 & 4 year old & decided to draw a line at that, however if an accident happened we would be both be happy even though it will take a bit of time to get our head around it.

Anyway last period was 12th Dec, lasted 4 days dtd on day 7 & 9 of cycle, day 9 dh felt he pulled out just in time but that a bit of his sperm probably did escape (sorry for the info!) I usually ovulate around 9 11/12 of my 27/28 day cycle.

Woke up this morning & my dd 3.5 years asked me twice "mummy do you remember what it feels like to have a baby in your tummy"??!!!

Since yesterday my boobs have been really sore, painful & large. I'm mega exhausted & threw up today on the way home from shopping luckily dh was driving.. Dh says he has a hunch I'm pregnant as it was a very close call that night. We don't use any contraception except the pull out as the pill drives me insane..

Is it too early to be experiencing symptoms? My dd freaked me out, don't think I can test for another week or so?

If your HCG levels are strong enough to give you symptoms, they’re strong enough to show up on a test.

The pull out method isn’t that effective. It might be worth speaking to your GP about alternative contraceptive methods x

Brownbear84 · 02/01/2018 09:58

Maybe go see you gp about different contraception methods, pull out method is not reliable and how many babies are you gonna end up with!xx

BrownBear after a chat with DH over lunch we decided to start ttc during the summer if we don't have a happy accident before then.
Still think I may be very tired today, sleep broken, feeling freezing then very warm & my pee stinks!

My pee stunk when I fell pregnant with my current, it was one of the things that made me think I was, together with big and painful boobs! Have you got any tests?

changeforthebetter5 · 02/01/2018 20:26

I miscalculated when my next af is due, I should be due 8th/9th, no tests here but will pick some up over the weekend.
DH informed me we actually dtd on the 22nd, well at around 1.30 am on the 22nd after he got in from his late shift. Not sure if that makes a difference... Have got some creamy white cm this evening & running to the loo more often today. Boobs very heavy & sore & dc extra clingy & obsessed with my boobs & putting her hands down my top...

I wonder why?

changeforthebetter5 · 04/01/2018 11:14

Update, still not tested, period due in about 4 days.. Still extremely exhausted, keep needing to sit down, lots of little cramping still. Not like period pain more like the round ligament stretching pains I felt with my two dc... I always get a spot in the exact same place on my chin every month about 2 weeks before my period, strangely this spot hasn't appeared this month, my skin has never been clearer....

It baffles me every time I see posts where grown adults don't understand contraception Hmm

Stripybulldog · 04/01/2018 11:38

Congrats on your pregnancy! Enjoy your journey!

physicskate · 04/01/2018 12:10

If you're having such strong symptoms from pregnancy, you would get a positive test, so test.

ontheedge99 · 04/01/2018 12:12

I do not understand these threads.

If you think you might be pregnant, pee on a stick.

If you think what you're really after is some internet strangers to enjoy the suspense with and keep the suspense going for a while yet then say so.

Stripybulldog · 04/01/2018 12:16

^^ Of course we can all see into how crystal balls!! I have, haven't you??

PurpleDaisies · 04/01/2018 12:20

Are there two of these threads?

changeforthebetter5 · 04/01/2018 12:40

Seeing I can't talk to anyone in rl yet only dh, I thought I might get some support from the conception board which is what it is there for... Obviously not!

@changefirthebetter5 ignore the sarky comments.

If your pregnant enough for symptoms then your pregnant enough to get a bfp. Try a frer.

Let us know how you get on.

Alibaba2 · 05/01/2018 18:56

Keep us posted! I’m intrigued! Fingers crossed x

GreenPurpleRed · 05/01/2018 19:03

I think it's the withdrawal method that gets everyone Hmm Why would you even bother?

If you're happy with an accident then crack on a good luck!

It would be a bit freaky if your 3 yo guessed Smile
