Now starting to feel more myself after having a miscarriage at around 5 / 6 weeks (no interest in checking app for exact dates currently)Sad

I'm eager to start again ASAP - is there any reason for waiting? (Bar dating reasons?)

How quickly have people found it took for their cycle up return?

I knew something wasn't right as the positive results I got were always very faint so it almost feels a relief now that it appears to be over.

I'm guessing as long as I feel fine in myself and have a negative test there's no reason to see my gp?

Thank goodness for Christmas / family keeping me busy the last couple of weeks.

Hi,

I had the same concerns after my MC so went to see the doctor.
She said the only reason to wait for first AF is for dating, there's no evidence to show that it's dangerous not to.
So as long as you feel ready, you can start trying straight away.
But wait for a negative test first I'd say.
Hope this helps

Sorry forgot to say, my AF came exactly four weeks after my MC but it's different for everyone, I think I read on average it was 4-6 but can take longer.
Fingers crossed you have some good luck soon

So sorry to hear. I ov a couple of weeks after my mc and we started TTC straight away. The only thing I would say is that it might be good for the GP to have a record of it just in case you need tests in the future. I know it's a pessimistic thing to say but could be worthwhile. X

Hi,
I am in the same boat as you. My CP happened 16th December, according to my app I am in my fertile week but not sure if it all just continues on as normal post MC or it’s out of sync. I’ve been doing OPKs since Christmas Eve to track what’s going on and temping (when I remember!).

Thank You @DaisyMay25

I'd read it can be quite quick. Il buy a test tomorrow and make sure it's negative - I just know it will be but I realise I need to know my hcg levels are normal again.

That's great to know you returned to normal quite quickly - I guess I know it's an Individual thing but it helps keep me optimistic.

Hi @sophherts thanks that's a really good point.

I had assumed it was so early they wouldn't want to know / I'd be wasting time.

I will phone them tomorrow once I've hopefully had my negative test (never thought I'd be saying that!)

Smile

Hi @NelleB Same!

I've not gone back into the app as you could only put if you menstruated or not... which I didn't Sad

So I've just not logged back in since and was just going to see what my body actually did.

@Patienceofatoddler I have just read this, it might give you some insight. I am confused as to whether my cycle will be 35 days as usual or shorter due to the CP... confusing.

@NelleB Thank You for that link.

Finally took a test today and BFN so I can't see we have any reason to not keep trying from here on.

Working out what my body's doing is a whole other story though Hmm

Wishing you the best of luck moving forward from this.
