No proper period but negative test?

Hello,

I've temporarily namechanged in case anybody who knows me is on here!

My period was due on Thursday, and thurs night after sex I had a short red bleed (literally just the wiping after!) but since then I've had nothing.... my periods are normally 4 days and heavy.

I did a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. Is it likely the short bleed was just a weird period or should I test again?

Hi hun I can't really speak from experience as I'm only on my first cycle trying to conceive my first child but I've had some bleeding after sex a few times and when investigated (I'm unsure of name think it's the endometrum it's usually tucked inside the cervix but mine sits on the outside and during sex becomes irritated and can sometimes bleed, completely harmless and can sometimes cause bleeding after sex) it could be a crazy period but I don't know I would wait a day or 2 and retest xx
