Hello all. I'm new to the board. Getting more desperate and feeling more sad each month. It took 9 months to conceive our first child. I'm now 38 and we are trying again... Its been over 6 months.

My question is that my cycle is 28 days but I ovulate on day 17... Is that too late for any hope of implantation? Has anyone experienced this? I don't know if I need to go and seek professional help...

So your luteal phase is 11 days? I've known loads of women conceive no problem with a short luteal phase. Most pregnancies implant 6-9dpo on average I believe, so you have plenty of time before af to implant.

Flowers when ttc takes a long time it's so painful, I'm sorry it's taking so long this time round. I really hope you get your bfp soon.

A normal luteal phase is 10 to 16 days so you're fine 😊

Thank you! I just read so many different things about it. It confuses me. Last time was scarier in a way because I was terrified I'd never have a child. I know I'm very very lucky. Thank you so much x
