Clomid cramps

Hi ladies,

I needing some advice BIG TIME!

I am currently on my 2WW after my first cycle of Clomid (50mg). I’m having bloods taken Day 21 to confirm if I ov or not.
I had a positive opk day 14 and hideous cramps/back ache/leg ache. I had to use a hot water bottle. This was on Xmas eve and Xmas day was still cramping all day, I just couldn’t sit still but LH surge was back to low again so I think I ovulate around this time. Now, 3 days down the line, I’m still getting ovary-located cramps on and off (mainly in the evening).
Is this normal on Clomid?
I’m taking my BBT for the first time this month and since the positive opk i am slightly up.
Also, I am worried about over stim because I ovulate on my own anyway (just low progesterone and a weak ovulation) so the Clomid was to release more eggs/make it more reliable.

I’m self diagnosing here with EVERYTHING. We Bd every other day from Day 8 to now (Day 17) and then moved to every day when I got my positive opk (day 13, 14 & 15)

Any wise words???? Confused
Emily

If they wanted more eggs, clomid isn't the way to go! Did they not scan you to track the follicle(s)?

No physicskate I haven’t had any scans. I had scans and a HyCoSy before I went on the Clomid but I’m just having bloods at day 21 and 24.

Well he said a better ovulation (stronger) as my progesterone level was 30 last month which my dr said meant I didn’t release an egg..

Really? I thought a level of 30 means ovulation has definitely happened. Mine was 18 which I was told meant I most likely had (I didn’t do the test on the most ideal day and should have done it a day or so earlier ideally).

Well I’m getting a little worried because everything I have read says 30 being the key number! I’m worried I have been fobbed off with Clomid because they can’t find anything else wrong! TTC for 2 years with unexplained :(
