If you’ve just got your BFP what does your cervix feel like?

I am terrible at understanding the different ‘feels’ of my cervix - I know that it should be high during ovulation, but apparently as it rises at different times in different women after conception it isn’t a reliable pregnancy indicator. Having said that mine feels quite low and soft today, so I’m kind of bracing myself for AF to show up on Thursday. If you’ve just got your BFP, does your cervix feel any different/is it high? I may be clutching at straws but it’s so hard to give up hope for another month.

When I got my BFP last cycle my cervix was high, to the point I had difficulty actually reaching it. Unfortunately I had an early mc but prior to that it stayed very high. I googled a lot at that time and read mixed opinions and that cervix position is unreliable. But it was unusual for me, and did indicate I was pg (as confirmed by hpt). So I guess if you have been monitoring your cervix and it is not usually high at this point in your cycle, then it could be an indicator you are pg. Though don't rely on that alone!

Sorry, I just realised your post was saying your cervix is low. Is it normally low for you before AF? I think what we look out for when monitoring cervix position/feel, is anything that is not usual for you at that point in your cycle.
