Any point in testing?

Hi Smile Just wondering if anyone can convince me if there's any point testing tomorrow (Christmas Day). I'll be 10dpo and AF is due on Friday.

I bought a First Response to use because I wanted to test tomorrow but only just realised it's Rapid Response and not Early Detection, I also have a ClearBlue Early Detection but I've seen so many bad things about those. Basically is there any point using the First Response or is there no chance of detection and I'll just be disappointed no matter what? Just trying to convince myself not to waste a test but I really want that BFP Christmas present! Confused

Don’t do it. If it’s negative (which it’s most likely to be at 10dpo) it’ll ruin your Christmas. Just wait until your af is late then test. It’s just not worth it tbh

I would agree - don't do it... might ruin your Xmas x

I'd do it. Even if it's a BFN you're still on with a chance, and you may get a BFP.
Please update us!

Thank you for the replies everyone! Smile
That's exactly what I'm trying to tell myself that I'll be so disappointed all day and it's so much better to wait but it's still so so tempting and I feel like the test is calling my name. Grin

I'll be testing with you snuffle - also 10dpo and AF due Friday. Breasts have been so sore the past few days; they always are before AF but to the extreme at the moment!

Fingers crossed we get an early Christmas present Flowers

Fingers crossed for you too Mammabear Thanks

It's always nice to have a fellow tester! I really really hope we get the most amazing Christmas present Grin

What kind of test do you have?

Also Mammabear meant to say the soreness sounds promising! Have you noticed anything else? Smile

I have a FRER, I wouldn't bother til at least 13dpo with any other test!

No other signs, but when I fell pregnant in May I had nothing (sadly MC at 7wks). Have been TTC for nearly 2 years so it would be close to a Christmas miracle!

Have you had any symptoms?

Mammabear31 · 25/12/2017 07:58

BFN for me, but I was expecting it so hasn't ruined my day.

Fingers crossed you've had better luck?

X

Mammabear31 · 25/12/2017 07:58

Oh and Merry Christmas!

snufflebabe94 · 27/12/2017 20:27

@Mammabear31 I held out until today-
Bfn never mind I didn't have my hopes up much. I felt pregnant for Christmas Day and avoided ruining my mood at least.

Hope you managed to enjoy Christmas Smile Have you done any more testing?

You're not out til AF arrives! I also got a BFN today and on another thread was told it's still too early, so don't give up hope just yet Flowers

snufflebabe94 · 27/12/2017 22:03

@Mammabear31 there's still hope then- still keeping my fx for you.

I think I might leave it a week and if af still isn't here I'll test again.
When are you thinking you'll test again?

OP posts:
Mammabear31 · 27/12/2017 23:04

See I'm clearly more impatient- I shall be testing again tomorrow morning! I have 5 FRER in the cupboard which are too tempting.

Will you not test over the weekend? A week seems a long time to wait.
