AF was due today (I think) - After the last three months being a crazed emotional monster I promised myself I wouldn't test until a good few days after (as my cycles have been a bit out of sink and unreliable).

Well I just tested with a cheapo Poundland test (there's one next to work and I couldnt resist).

Initially when the line moved across the test there was no second line - Then I looked again 2-3 mins later and I swear I can see a second line.

Is this likely to be an evap as it didn't appear initially?

Or is it normal to take a couple of minutes this early? Confused

Part of me is so excited but part me doesn't want to allow myself to get excited as maybe it's wrong / didn't work.

It's going to be a long wait until tomorrow morning feeling such a huge mix of emotions right nowConfused

Is it - isn't it?

Yes that's a line. Congratulations.

That looks positive!! From my experience evap lines are usually a really thin line with no colour/grey, but that looks thick and pink! congratulations! Grin

I would take that as a positive Smile They don't always appear straight away, but as long as it's within the time frame you're fine. Congratulations!

Thank you @gaga85 that's reassuring to know.

Have to admit I'm somewhat shocked.

I don't think il trust it until a clearer result though. Confused

I literally pulled the test apart as the window was partially caved in so hard to read which is why I'm doubting myself.

no problem Grin i'd suggest maybe trying a digital then the word is there in front of you but i don't think they're as sensitive so if you're only early on it might not say what you want it to..but it looks positive to me anyway!
