Black/dark brown discharge!! Advice please!!!

Sorry tmi just went to the toilet and when I wiped there was black/dark brown discharge on the paper?? I'm on CD14 what could this be?? Please answer

Yes, but it's all so confusing I had one BFP then a BFN been to the doctors they've taken blood and have booked me in for an early scan, but there worried I'm miscarrying😭 I really hope this isn't the case

I had dark/old blood spotting with all three pregnancies and they all carried to term. I had full on red blood gushing with DS2 and he is here. All is not necessarily lost. When is your scan?

I would probably give them a call today and see if they can scan you earlier. Or at least examine you to confirm whether or not you're miscarrying. Friday is a long time to wait in your situation. Really really hope it is all ok.

Rang the doctors today they said there's nothing they can do, I'll have to wait till Friday and see what happens😭

Have you tried 111? They’re often a little more helpful and might tell you to go to A&E. Doctors are often a bit useless on the phone.

That looks like old blood. Any chance your period is likely to come earlier than expected?

Does your local hosp have an early pregnancy unit? They should have. I had this and phoned them as my GPs midwife couldnt speak to me for hours. Mine turned from brown to heavy bleeding quite quickly, so it was obvious it was a miscarriage (at 9 wks). But I know a lot of people get brown discharge and everything is fine.
Try not to panic too much but dont wait until friday, just for peace of mind really.

I'm not due af for a while only on CD15, my cycles range from 37-70 days😖 Thank you Bec1302 they do, I've rang 111 they told me to go to the hospital and get things checked...I don't know what is happening, I can't be certain I'm pregnant to say it's a miscarriage😩

I had something similar at 19 weeks. It turned out to be old blood & dS is 12yo now, but do get it checked. Fingers crossed for you. Xxxx

It does look like ewcm to me have you been tracking ovulation? I've heard that it's possible to bleed at ovulation or perhaps it's a ruptured ovarian cyst. Any pain?

I was at the early pregnancy unit last week and they really looked after me but sadly it was a failing early pregnancy. I've been bleeding for 24 days and have discharge like yours so wonder if I'm ovulating.
