Hi everyone

I came off cerelle on 16th November and experienced no withdrawal bleed. Been having cramping for the past week and today have started bleeding, so this would be 34 days since stopping so is it likely that I have ovulated and this is my period now?

Trying to conceive in near future and thought I would come off pill to try and regulate my cycle and keep track of things. Just wasn’t sure if this is likely to be my period rather than a withdrawal bleed considering the time that’s gone by since stopping and definitely feels period like. Thanks!

I came of cerelle in September and also didn’t have a withdrawal bleed. My first cycle was 40 days and I know I definitely ovulated (well as sure as you can ever be) as was using opks and charting. Sounds like your cycle might be similar and this will be your first normal period. We also didn’t try straight away due to zika but Just wanted to track my cycles. My second cycle was 32 days and this one is looking like it’s going to be 28. Hope that helps

Great help thanks so much! Sounds similar - hoping my next one comes in a decent time frame too! I am pretty sure this is a period and not a withdrawal bleed based on how it feels and I also had a feeling I had ovulated as a couple of weeks ago my boobs were so sore and I could definitely feel some twinges in my ovary. Maybe being more conscious of the whole thing is making me super observant lol. But thanks so much for your reply :)

Ha yes the first proper period was a bit of a shock (although of course was pleased) but I had forgotten about the cramps and sore boobs etc as hadn’t had one for so long on cerelle!

Hey op. You don't always get a withdrawal bleed from cerelle because it's a mini pill.

I came of mine 22nd nov and had a period from 1-5 December
