Do not look out for symptoms. All symptoms you experience during the tww are hormonal despite mimicking pregnancy symptoms. If you must test before your period is due, don’t do it any earlier than 2 days before it’s due. You will most likely get a negative even if you do end up being pregnant. I’ve been ttc for 13 months. No pregnancies. Remember it can take up to 12 months for a healthy couple to conceive so don’t stress too much if you’re getting on to month 3 and still aren’t pregnant. We’re taught in school that if you have sex, you’ll get pregnant. That’s untrue, you have around a 20-25% chance of conceiving every month (assuming there are no issues) it can take MUCH longer than you expect to get pregnant. It can also happen much quicker. Best thing to do is get some opks and take each month as it comes. And don’t symptom spot! Good luck

Thank you for the advice :D i was going to wait to see if my period is late because it has been spot on every month recently and then if it is late i will do a test then! I have a good feeling about it but i don't want to get my hopes up! I know it can take up to a year to conceive so just enjoying the baby making at the moment haha!!

First pregnancy took 2.5 years. Second pregnancy took 1 month.
Highly recommend clear blue ovulation kit (the one with the flashing smiley faces). I also used the Ovia app which was very useful in understanding my cycles more and knowing when I was more fertile.

Many of the symptoms in early pregnancy are similar to those when coming on your period i.e. bloating, cramps, backache etc. The more classic pregnancy symptoms such as nausea and food aversions can take a few more weeks to develop, so symptoms are not really a reliable indicator to pregnancy and you can drive yourself crazy.

Good luck x

Pregnant first try the morning after wedding.

Symptoms kicked in a fortnight after, sickness, sore boobs and extreme tiredness.

Now 35 weeks!!!

I downloaded Flo to track my cycles and did this for several months ahead of trying to conceive.

Best of luckFlowers

18 months, during which time I discovered I had PCOS. If your cycles are regular, simply test if AF is late. Don’t symptom spot, as you will drive yourself crazy!
Good luck!
