BBT chart - don't really understand it!

Can anyone explain this chart to me please? Does it look ok?

Been very careful to make sure I temp properly but it seems very up and down!

I am getting crampy like before AF so don't think this is my month.

When does temp usually dip again after ovulation?

Thanks Xmas Smile

Temperature only dips about a day before periods.
Spiky profile is usually associated with stress/anxiety.
But it certainly says you have ovulated this month!

Thank you Hermione that makes sense about stress and anxiety causing the spikes, have had a rough few months.

So pleased it looks like I am ovulating though as I never used to and when I finally did we lost baby at 12+6, I was worried that it was a fluke ovulation and I was going back to cycles without ovulation.

It looks to me as though you are using a thermometer with only 1 decimal place. Is this right? If you switch to one with 2 decimal places you may be able to tell more from your chart, because the thermometer won’t be rounding up or down.
Also, do you always take your temp at the same time? Taking it a different times, disturbed sleep and alcohol all make my temps bounce around as yours did before ovulation.

Your chart looks broadly fine though - shews a clear shift at ovulation.

Yes Polly99 I am using a thermometer with only 1 decimal space - I have just ordered one with 2 decimals, thank you for that advice!

I always take between 6.30am and 7am - basically my alarm is for 7 and sometimes I wake up a bit earlier, I am not someone who can just lie still in bed so figure I should take it when I wake otherwise I move around and think that would raise my temp?

I think pre-ovulation disturbed sleep was perhaps a factor then as I was having a lot of anxiety and stress due to my return to work after being off a few weeks sick.
