Am i still pregnant do you think?

I had what i thought was a chemical pregnancy last week. I bled for 6 days lost loads of clots, but after a couple of ov tests i decided to poas just to check and theres a clear line (within the time). Is it even possible to still be pregnant or does this mean i havent passed everything?

When was ovulation do you know? It's a pretty dark line X

24th november (CD16) according to ff. im shocked i thought id have gone negative again by now but its gone darker. But i lost so much blood i cant imagine how it could even be possible that anything survived xx

Totally possible. I bled HEAVILY through all my pregnancies. Awful clots, gushing, never had any pain though. Healthy babies here

Thats reassuring. Ive been so confused, this ‘cycle’ has been messed up with bbt not matching cm or anything, yet saying positive opks. It werent tallying up thats what made me poas. Ive gotta go to have bloods taken now, and to arrange an early scan to see whats happening.

You'd be 6 weeks this weekend so definitely get an early scan.

Once you are 6 weeks you can get your GP to refer you to EPU. They'll scan you and take your bloods.

Unfortunately it is totally possible to have had a miscarriage and still be producing tests like that. It took nearly two weeks before my HCG levels dropped off. However, it is also totally possible to bleed heavily and still be pregnant.

Either way you need to get a referral to the EPU. Good luck.

It could be one of three things you miscarried but still have hc1 in your system , you have miscarried one of a multiple pregnancy or you could just have experienced heavy bleeding.
Does your hospital have an early pregnancy emergency room. If not I would google your nearest one and go there . They will be able to give you an internal scan.

For the emergency epu you do not need a referral.

Thanks ladies, im just waiting on a phone call from epu about a scan. I did a FRER and a got a much darker bfp. It has got much stronger since the bleeding finished. I assumed it would get fainter or stay the same

It really good that you've contacted the EPU. Hopefully, they'll be able to see if the pregnancy is in the uterus and date it.

My mum bled very heavy and was prepped for dc

She refused and now has a healthy nearly 5yr old!

After my mc I was told to test 3 weeks later to check for remaining hcg, which could suggest the mc wasn't complete. So it's possible still to have a mc and have hcg, sorry. Fx crossed your story has a happy ending x

Yes soozc thats why i feel like i can’t feel relieved or anything in fact... in case its an incomplete mc. It was a hellova heavy bleed to not have been one. It was fresh too so its not old blood. I guess ill have to sit tight and see how it pans out. I have my next bloods thurs to see if the hormone has changed since today xx

@Lostmybaubles nothing yet, i was told theyd ring me. Maybe they are waiting on the bloods to confirm the preg test before they arrange it? My boobs were tingling abit today, i wonder if thats a positive sign or not... im wary about getting my hopes up too much though xx

Test line is fainter today ( top stick) compared to yesterday (bottom stick) so feeling pretty shite atm.

Fx it's just your urine was concentrated enough x
