I gather it can be normal to get lines on an opk throughout your cycle, but are these normally faint lines or can they be dark lines for a whole month?

I am still breastfeeding and my cycles haven't returned so hoping to catch my first ovulation. Been feeling very hormonal for past 6 weeks but no fertile CM, no positive Opk and no AF. I understand it can take a long time for things to return to normal while breastfeeding but I'm awaiting further abdominal surgery which I've been advised to postpone until we've had another child (Dr knew we would like another).

First month using them (before hormones went haywire) I would get an occasional faint line. Since symptoms have started, I'm getting a dark line morning and afternoon. Could this just be my body gearing up for its first ovulation?

Opk help please

@Bambamber you get a line as dark as the rest or darker when you're ovulating. If that's the darkest it's got so far I think maybe test tomorrow. Good luck! X

It's been this dark for practically a whole month Sad I'll keep testing and hoping, thankyou!

Have you tried testing at different times of the day? I read that it was better to try around 4pm and mine were all negative but when I tested at 11 it was darker and at 11am yesterday I got my first positive.

See if you can test at different times x
