IVF Costs in Australia

Does anyone know how much if costs to undergo one cycle of IVF in Australia?

My BF has been quoted 5-7K Pounds to do it here but as she and her DH2B are half way through the emigration process she wonders if it's going to be better to wait til they get settled there.

Hi if you dont get a reply here I know of a number of Aussies who post on the IVFworld.com forum - general forum. You could try and ask there. From what I understood they pay into some sort of insurance pot and are then allowed to take out of it x amount of money. This could change from state to state though. Also one person was writing from the outback and had very little support and access to drugs so I guess you will need to say where they are going to stay too as that may make a difference.
