Spotting? Period?

So I do have irregular periods 30-35days normally but max has been 40. I'm now on day 54 and no period. On day 50 and 51 I had some spotting (brown, no clotting, total about a teaspoon) and nothing else! That has never happened before and no period symptoms at all, I always get cramps!) any ideas what this could be? Should I take another test? Worried I'm over looking because I want to be pregnant Confused

If you don't usually miss a period and you don't normally have brown spotting then it could be early signs of implantation. Just take caution in case you are and take a pregnancy test soon.

I'm not sure I fully understood your message koala, as in be careful not to take a test too soon or that I should take a test soon?
I did take a test, sprung out for the expensive one and it was a BFN.
