If you have sex at the right time of the month to conceive and then go to the gym/jog almost every day for the next 14 would you be reducing your chances of conception? A bit worried that pounding the pavement/ treadmill will prevent implantation. Is this a silly concern? After all you read everywhere about how it is important to be fit to conceive.

I am absolutely no expert, but I think common sense should prevail. Maybe you should try to cut down on high impact excercise and switch to low impact if you're worried?

Good luck

I would imagine you will not do any damage with your workouts, so long as you are sensible.....after all there are literally millions of us out there ttc and I've never heard of exercise standing in the way before!

Good luck!

If it is any help at all, my IVF clinic were of the view that you should just carry on life as normal after having embryos transferred etc, so exercise, swimming etc all fine.

Not that it is what you're asking, but usually implantation wouldn't happen for 5 or so days after ovulation....
