Can anyone advice or commiserate? I am 36yo ttc. Went for a check up. Everything was fine. Doctor specifically said i'm not perimenopausal and I can expect to conceive in 6 months of trying. My period has stopped (last period was in july) and all pregnancy tests are negative. I went to the doctor after 3 months and they gave me norehistorone to induce period and that hasn't worked either. What is happening? I am beginning to feel very hopeless. Any insights will be appreciated

What kind of tests did you have? A friend of mine thought she was going through the menopause but it was something to do with her thyroid. Have you lost or gained a lot of weight or had any other health problems?

I’m guessing you’re going back to the doctor about the norehisterone? I’d try not to panic or google too much until you’ve seen them. There are far too many horror stories online.

No new health problems. The tests were the usual. Prolactin and progesterone. Prolactin was high and progesterone was normal. I will give the doctor a call tomorrow.
