I am so shocked this morning!! TTC 2 and a half years, 1 round of failed IVF. Am moving house this month so things have been stressful, have been run down and ill ignoring my own body. Period was late but then has been messed up after IVF. Found a test last night while moving stuff and tested this morning..... I’m pregnant. DH went out and bought 3 more tests all positive! I honestly can’t believe it!! Now to think of my reasons for not drinking

Ah congratulations! Only saw this on active. I wouldn’t offer excuses for not drinking- only one antibiotic you can’t drink with for tooth abscess. I’d fake the drinking. Tonic with no gin, pretend you’ve just been topped up.

Dd was a surprise after 8 years of trying. We were just busy getting on with life and then boom! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months.

Yes faking it is the best way to go. When I was pregnant with my last child I turned up to a party with a bottle of vodka filled with water. Spent the night drinking that. No one suspected a thing.

On a side note isn't it sad/ annoying that a woman can't go a night without drinking without everyone thinking she's pregnant

Isn’t it a pain poptartz any time I’m the designated driver eyebrows are raised! Last time DH went to a party alone he was asked all evening if it was because I was pregnant - nope just sick!
