Feeling slightly deflated this time as i've been ttc since march

Hi I'm also in the 2ww. I'm on cycle 4 and af is due on the 14th so I'm on the homeward stretch! Started charting and using opks for the first time this month. It's giving me hope because i'm actually doing something new and have proof that I actually ovulated this month! Are you guys charting?

Hi guys I know I’m in my tww but not sure if 1 or 2dpo as got positive opks for two days in a row. Done the sperm meets egg plan for first time this month and followed it 99% except missed doing it for one day (every other day) I my fertile window but made it up by doing it the next night and twice after (which is suggested when you get a pos opk) so fx it works xx

Hi All :) I'm in the 2ww, due to test on the 23rd so hoping for a Christmas miracle fx. This is my 5th month ttc. I know that's not long compared to some people on mumsnet but im starting to get worried. I'm in my mid 30's and can't help but worry. Good luck everyone

I'm in the 2ww as well. AF due on the 15th and will be doing an early detection test tomorrow but don't feel any different so hopeful but not expecting anything really. It's my first month properly TTC but I'm hoping it won't take too long.

Me also!! Af due on 17th, but I have only a 21 day cycle.

We haven't told anyone we are TTC. My sister has PCOS and tried for a long time to have her DD. Happily she is now 3.5 years old and a happy healthy little person but because DH and I don't know how our TTC journey will unfold we don't want the added pressure. I do think I'll find it incredibly difficult though keeping the pregnancy to ourselves for the first trimester

Me- sadly suffered a miscarriage at 11 weeks last month so this is the first month after that and I didn't want to wait. We just DTD around ovulation time but I didn't use OPKs or anything. I tend to have long ish cycles, 35 days, but don't know what my hormones will be like after the miscarriage. I think I'm on CD26.

Don't actually feel hopeful as we only DTD 3 times in the lead up to ovulation but there's a part of me that's just wishful thinking!

Wouldn't it be great if some of us got some BFPs for Christmas!

I'm not going to test unless I get to 20th December so would be a few days late by then. Don't enjoy the disappointment of early testing.

Currently on the 2 week wait .....

So tested this morning with a clear blue early detection test and got BFN. I'm 8dpo but still hopeful though because I've not have any of my usual symptoms I get around this time before AF.

Having lurked on other threads it seems people always recommend first response tests. Are they very sensitive? I might purchase some of them for next month should I be completely out for December.

Me. 9th cycle. But dc1 was IVF due to male factor so not hopeful.

Bee4s I have just told people that we are thinking of starting sometime next year. My mam and DP's mum keeps on all the the time. Was thinking if we did get a December BFP and I manage to keep it quite (like you I feel I will struggle lol), then it may work out that we can tell them in March on mother's Day. But my sister is already acting the pregnancy detective... I turn down a cup of tea and she is like WHY? So that may not work out!! Sorry about the BFN but like you said it's still early days yet! I have heard that first response is best... I think I will get some of those. Fingers crossed for you!!

Yankeec Sorry to hear about that. Can't even imagen! Fingers crossed you get a Christmas BFP. I really wanted to test early last month, but didn't go and buy any and then AF came so I'm glad I didn't... Think if I had had tests I would have used them so I'm not going to buy anything until I actually need to.... So she says now anyway lol.

What has turning down a cup of tea got to do with being pregnant?

I just got a dark line on my ovualtion strips this morning. I thought i would do it for the whole cycle qs it is so short. What would the cause of that be? I am on day 14 of 21 day cycle and I think I ovualted around day 4, acxoring to strips.

When my sister was pregnant she was obsessed with what she ate and didn't want any caffeine lol. I hope I'm a bit more relaxed... I'd be lost without my tea and biscuits everyday.

My cousin is trying... They told us all and are now really stressed out about it... It's been 8 months. Think I'm going to try and keep it secret... I'm not a very good secret keeper though lol.

Its driving me insane! I have never tried opks but i think i will in the new year if we still have no luck. Anyone have any recommendations? Im not even entirely sure how they work

Why would you turn down a cup of tea? I'm confused 🤷‍♀️ I ovulated the 30th so another week till af is due but I've been mega mega poorly for a month so don't think I've caught. Xx
