Spotting or flow, which do you chart?

I'm using the Glow app to track my periods. It turns out I have a regular 26 day cycle, which will be useful for knowing when to test. However I'm not sure when to start counting my period - the light spotting I have for 2 days before or the heavy flow I have for 2 days? (Sorry if TMI!)

I ask because it seems to affect the fertile window predicted by the app...

Or do I just DTBD throughout the cycle, so that it doesn't matter?

I never know this. I have light periods so I’m never sure where it actually starts. I’d just DTD regularly.

You start tracking from the first day you have red blood x
