TTC #2

I'm 27. DD is nearly 15 months. This is my first cycle ttc again Grin. Currently on CD14 so won't be testing til Jan but I thought I'd pop by and say hi Smile

Paranormalbouquet · 21/12/2017 10:42

So oddly today all my PMS symptoms have disappeared. Woke up to pee overnight twice. And am nauseous this morning. 10/11DPO- probably 11 but could be 10. I’m in the airport and have impulsively bought 2 FRERs. Do I use one now or wait til morning? Or stick to my original plan of seeing what happens Xmas eve?

Kit1411 · 21/12/2017 11:03

Eek I’d have to do one to find out, hope it’s positive.

muffyduffster · 21/12/2017 14:44

Hello all 👋🏻
Going to join in!
I'm 38 and this is our first cycle TTC #2 (#1 has just turned one).
I'm CD21 and at the end of my fertile window according to Ovia. Got pregnant with first quickly and periods haven't been back long due to BF so not sure how accurate the data is (I was on the pill for 20 years before first baby so not good at tracking) but feeling what I think are ovulation twinges on my right side and DTD last night so in with a chance this month Grin
Will probably test on New Year's Day! Fingers crossed for everyone.

RhiBee29 · 21/12/2017 19:04

Welcome to the newbies, in the nicest way possible I hope you're not here long.

Still got the sore boobs (did last cycle so discounting it as a symptom) also got up to pee last night, food & drinks are not tasting quite right and very gassy Hmm...hopes are up, why do I do it each cycle?

MynameisJune · 21/12/2017 19:21

@rhi I’m the same, always say I won’t symptom spot but can’t hekp myself. Loads of CM, getting heartburn, felt sick this morning and needed a nap this afternoon. All this on top of some really bad cramps has made me get my hopes up. I know I’m just heading for a huge disappointment when af arrives. Hope grows in the most barren places I guess.

Cariad2017 · 21/12/2017 19:44

Sounding promising Rhi, Mynameis and Paranormal. I shall be keeping everything crossed for you. I know this isn’t my cycle but at least I’ll have another shot at a September due date in early January so all is not lost!

Kit1411 · 21/12/2017 19:48

Welcome @muffy! @paranormal did you test?
Still crampy a little, lots of dreams the past few days, not too much CM but is creamy, constipated, sore throat...

Paranormalbouquet · 21/12/2017 21:47

I did, had a very very faint lineSmile.

Could well be another chemical though as it’s so so faint, but fingers crossed here. Will need to urgently see the gynae people re stitch if sticky.

Kit1411 · 21/12/2017 22:15

Oh yay that’s great news! Will you test again in a few days?

FuzzInMyBrain · 21/12/2017 22:44

Hi everyone! I'm hopping on the bus although I'm only 5 months PP and still breastfeeding and AF has not yet returned so I have no idea where in my cycle I am, or if my fertility has even returned yet.

Tried an OPK today and got this - is this a positive?

Any other mums still BFing? When did AF return for you?

I really want to conceive this month as it's taken me since Feb to pluck up the courage again, but I'm a little apprehensive if I do...

I conceived on 23rd December last year (I know this because it was first time me and hubby had sex after DD was born in Oct). And had a mc in Feb.

If I conceive this cycle it will be this week sometime so the two pregnancies would mirror each other's due dates etc. So it's a bit scary and emotional too!

A strange part of me likes the idea of ending the year how I started it .. pregnant. But we will see how it goes 🤞🏻

Paranormalbouquet · 21/12/2017 22:49

Not very confident given the squinter nature but fingers crossed.

Will test again Saturday as have boozy brunch to go to.

Cariad2017 · 21/12/2017 23:20

Oooh Paranormal - that sounds very very promising. Well done on plucking up the courage to ttc again Introvert. I shall be keeping everything crossed that this is your lucky month. Starting January pregnant would be just ace - it would be such a fab way to banish those new year blues!

MynameisJune · 22/12/2017 06:20

That sounds promising paranormal I tested this morning at 10dpo (no idea why, all my symptoms have disappeared) and as predicted it’s a bfn. Oh well, onto January and at least I can drink over Christmas.

RhiBee29 · 22/12/2017 07:20

Sore for the bfn @MynameisJune but it's still early!

Good luck @Paranormalbouquet hope the line gets darker x

9dpo here, af not due til 30th according to Ovia as my last few cycles have been 31 days but I ovulated on cd13/14 this month so I think my cycle may be shorter otherwise my luteal phase will be 18days that's nearly a three week wait, I can barely survive 2!

MynameisJune · 22/12/2017 07:29

@rhi I know it’s early, but I just know it’s not going to be a bfp this month now. This is why I don’t test, af is just so much easier to handle for me than a bfn.

Paranormalbouquet · 22/12/2017 11:41

Well of course I tested again. Still very faint and my heart rate dropped today according to Fitbit. But still there (DH and camera can see!). My logical brain tells me that a line is a line especially this early but given my high miscarriage risk this isn’t reassuring me!

Still all I can do is wait and see. DH is probably going to kill me if I don’t stop sneaking away from extended family activities to obsess over pregnancy tests.

Paranormalbouquet · 22/12/2017 11:52

Fuzz I’d say that’s either positive or nearly positive. Would get busy anyway. I hate OPKs- never fail to confuse me! And obviously early pregnancy tests but can’t seem to help myself there!

Introvert fingers crossed this is your month. RhiBee my cycles vary slightly but luteal phase is constant so I’d count 13/14 days from when you think you ovulated. My predicted period date is today but I definitely ovulated 2-3 days later this month so have recalculated as Xmas Eve.

@Paranormalbouquet eeeeek

RhiBee29 · 22/12/2017 17:42

It's there @Paranormalbouquet...hope it sticks! How many dpo are you? My luteal phase is usually 14 days so I'm taking it as af due 27th.

Paranormalbouquet · 22/12/2017 17:58

12dpo I think. Possibly 11. Line hasn’t got any darker over 24hours but it’s still there so hoping it sticks. Will avoid drinking at brunch tomorrow I think. May need to drive for some reason.

Cariad2017 · 22/12/2017 22:05

Sorry to hear about your BFN Mynameis. 10dpo is very early though, so you never know. If you’re out, at least you can console yourself with lots of non-preggo friendly food over Christmas.

I POAS this evening at 12dpo and as ever it was snowy white so I pretty much know that I’m out.

Cariad2017 · 22/12/2017 22:06

Loving the FRER photos Paranormal. I shall be keeping everything crossed for you. Xxx
