I am statrting to get thrush again, this is the third month in a row. I feel really depressed about it. What can I do. I suppose DP will need to be treated as he maybe passing it back to me. I'm so fed up of it.

I know how you're feeling, it's miserable when that bl*y fungus keeps coming back.

If you're not pg or bf, it might be worth talking to your gp about both of you taking a systemic anti-fungal like diflucan - and it's cheaper on prescription than over the counter. Otherwise you should be able to use canesten but get your dp to take the systemic stuff, it's only one tablet.

It might also be worth looking at your diet - if you eat a lot of sugar, that apparently can encourage thrush. I found tea tree soap helps, too - Tisserand do a nice liquid one.

A couple of months ago I was diagnosed with BV and the doctor not only treated me for that but also advised that I start washing with Emolient Cream from then on, indefinately. Seeing as both thrush and BV can be aggrevated by shower gels, etc (and I never thought i used particularly perfumed ones BTW)then maybe this would help you too.....

You can put natural yoghurt on a tampon, put it in and then remove tampon (so yoghurt stays in).works a treat.dp should get canesten cream from boots/similar and dont have sex (unprotected) until you both have not got any more symptoms.his may look like little red spots.

wear cotton knickers, not thongs.dont use perfume bubble bath/feminine hygeine products, they all upset the balance.dont wear tight jeans either.
