Hi ladie,

So I've posted on a couple of threads so far and had a read through a lot of other fab threads, but I'm feeling a little fed up waiting now!

I've been on BC for 13 years and have most recently been on cerelle for about 2 years (went through them all finding one that didn't turn me into a complete hormone monstress!) I never had a period on them either so I've no idea what my cycle is like....

I stopped it last Thursday TTC #1 (early days I know) but I've still not had a withdrawal bleed but lots of crazy body feelings. We DTD Thursday, Fri and Sun and not since then (again, early days I know) but I've had the minutest bit of spotting, only when after I've been to the bathroom and that was on Saturday and again yesterday. Sorry TMI. I had horrendous cramping, gurgling stomach and bloating yesterday to the point I was certain I would have AF today but still nothing.

I've tempted the law of sod by wearing nice white undies and a bright red skirt today to try and encourage it but nothing is happening.

I've read the thread regards monitoring you rhr on fitbit and so dug mine out last night to try and gauge a pattern over the next few weeks.

I'm going to PIAC next weekend and see where I'm at and like I've said all through I know its early days but the waiting is driving me crackers! I just want to know where I stand!

What are your experiences?

Thank you xx

Hi, I was on Cerelle for about 2 years too (I was horrendous on it with hormones up and down, so I’m glad to be off ttc). When I came off I had every pregnancy symptom going but apparently this is extremely common. I had my first withdrawal bleed exactly 28 after coming off. Then I had a period 27 days after that. I’m due my next period on 4th dec so 28 days after my last, unless I get a BFP, but I have no symptoms so I’m pretty sure I’m out this month. I’m am so tired though, but it’s pretty normal for me. No idea really when I ovulate, have been trying the sticks but not every day. Got pretty crampy on CD14 but since coming off the pill I haven’t really had much Cervical Mucas so I’m going to try Preseed or fertility live from Boots next month as I reckon that’s the problem.

Hi was on cerelle (previously cerrazette) for about 15 years. I stopped taking it mid sept this year and didn’t get a withdrawal bleed.

My first cycle 40 days and the second one has been 32 so seem to be settling down (hopefully) I know it’s frustrating but it will take some time for you body to adjust. I am temping and using opks as wanted to check I am ovulating (which it seems I am)

@Kit1411 I've got horrible nausea and off sense of taste which is gross af! I had some slightly water CM over the weekend but its kind of all dried up now so I wonder if maybe I'd ovulated or its just cerelle giving my brain a bashing!

@HellaBella0 what do you count as your first CD? The day you came off your pill or the day you first bled? Do the days in between not count? So confusing!!!

I've got some opks and am monitoring my rhr as said above, will try temping from tomorrow morning just to see where I'm at.

Well as I didn’t know for that first cycle I just counted the day after I stopped taking it as cycle Day 1. I ovulated on day 28 (according to opks and bbt) and then got period on Day 40.

Second one I counted cd1 from first day of period so that was my first ‘proper’ cycle i guess.

I def recommend charting and opks but I know that they don’t work for everyone and that some people finds it adds to their stress levels. Personally I like to know exactly what’s going on though and have found it reassuring to see that I am ovulating.

I use the app ‘Flo’ to log my periods etc and it says CD1 is the first day of your period.
