Ordered some from amazon (much cheaper than in Tesco etc but assuming they all do the same job!)

I have zilch experience of using these and although I get the general gist of it can I have some advice! What day do I start using them? (AF arrived yesterday after a 52 day cycle following coming off contraceptive!), are they like pregnancy tests and best used first thing? And any other hints or tips you can think of!

They are similar to the pregnancy test strips, if you bought the cheap amazon opks. They say to test between 12 and 8pm. Because fmu may not show your LH surge clearly (not sure why) I generally test at 10am and 5:30pm (as I would like to catch the start of my LH surge). I only have recently started sticking my opks on paper in a row and labelling them the cycle day and time taken as this can help you see what day you generally ovulate- but that’s just me!
I also don’t put them in my urine stream, I usually hold them in a cup of urine for 10 seconds then wait like 2 mins for a result. Not sure what else to say :) if you have any questions just say

I have started using them day after AF ends, up until I get my positive opk.
