Mirena coil

Has anyone else struggled to conceive after having the mirena coil taken out? I had my coil for about 4 years and had it taken out 5months ago. My period was regular until this month and so far I haven't had a period, tests have come back negative. I'm worried because when I had my coil in I developed some cysts on my ovaries which the doctor said were normal. I've got two children from a previous relationship and didn't have any issues conceiving with them. Just feeling frustrated at the moment x

Hi!

I came off the mirena in December and I didn't catch on until August 2017 but - everyone's different so don't worry Smile

The pregnancy ended in a MC at 8 weeks, but I don't believe that's any correlation to the mirena coil.

The hormone withdrawal can leave you with pregnancy symptoms as I was constantly convinced I was pregnant for months but every POAS was negative.

Keep your hopes up and baby dust for you!
