I've never used a test like this before. Am on the Mirena. It said two lines is a positive but I'm not sure if this faint line is just where the cardboard stops.

What does this mean?

With those tests, you do tend to get a three line issue - the control line, the line where the absorbent bit stops and then the test line.

You have the absorbent and control lines. I don't see one in the test 'space'.

HTH.

Thank you!

There also seems to be a fair bit of colour run on that test, so I'd say it may be a duff one.

TheSarahChronicles · 25/11/2017 15:54

From what I've been told the other line should be as dark or darker than the control line for it to be positive as we all have a little LH in our urine all the time... this is what mine looked like in the run up to LH positive...

Thank you. I am so confused just after I posted this I started bleeding some pink stuff which is now brown. Not really like a period but I guess it is. But it's five days early too.

@disconnected, how many dpo are you?

disconnecteddrifter · 25/11/2017 16:24

I am due my period on Wednesday or Thursday but tested because I had been ill earlier in the week and my boobs hurt, nauseous etc. Looked it up to see if it was a bug and all results came up might be pregnant. Something is definitely up - can being ill make you bleed?

OP posts:
Oysterbabe · 25/11/2017 16:25

You are testing way too early.

disconnecteddrifter · 25/11/2017 16:32

I know. I'm testing because being pregnant would not be ideal. I'm on the mirena but have had it for five years. The doctor said that was fine btw but something else is going on for sure.

OP posts:
dementedpixie · 25/11/2017 16:35

I thought it was only designed to be used for 5 years. I had to take extra precautions in the time between mine expiring and getting it removed

dementedpixie · 25/11/2017 16:36

I also never got regular periods with it

disconnecteddrifter · 25/11/2017 16:41

I've always had regular periods (was hoping that I would be one of the ones who got none). My doctor said it's now licensed for 7 years so pretty sure can't be pregnant but something is up. The nausea, fatigue, boobs and now this pink and brown discharge/early period. What else would make a period come early?

Implantation bleeding?

Needadvicetoleave · 25/11/2017 18:19

thesarahchronicals what you have are OPKs, the OP has a pregnancy test.

TheSarahChronicles · 25/11/2017 21:43

Ahhhh @disconnecteddrifter @Needadvicetoleave so very sorry! I have my OPK hat on and hadn't seen a pregnancy test that looked the same - sorry for the confusion!

Needadvicetoleave · 25/11/2017 23:27

@TheSarahChronicals easy mistake to make with the test being green, the pregnancy tests are usually blue!
